After reading several of the Tierra Linda reviews on TripAdvisor, my husband and I booked a room at this property for two nights at the end of March. This was our first visit to Galena, IL and we decided to bring our large dog with us (which was why we chose this B&B as it was one of the very...

Imagine a place where you can walk in beautiful woods with your dog off the leash, join her/him inside for a quiet (or lively - whatever you prefer) evening and then snuggle in bed with your 4-legger companion at the end of the day. That's Terre Linda B&B!!!! It's a great location - only about 10 minutes from historic Galena...

Where to begin? My wife, 2 dogs and I had a wonderful time at TierraLinda relaxing, conversing, exploring, and just enjoying what life has to offer in rolling hills of Galena. We had a great breakfast both days of fresh fruit, scrambled eggs (with some latin flavor and other tasty ingredients), bacon, hash browns, coffee (latte's actually from Armando's espresso...

To those that are curious about what heaven is really like, we found that place. It is the most peaceful, relaxing Bed and Breakfast you can find in Illinois. Why? ...From the time we arrived upon looking at the house in such perfect setting, we knew this would be an experience we could never forget. As soon as we arrived...

We spent a February weekend in Galena and enjoyed Tierra Linda immensely. Armando is a generous host and spoiled our dog as much as he spoiled us. Our room was comfortable and the house was warm day and night thanks to the pot belly stove in the living room. Mornings included a great country style breakfast that filled us up...

If you are looking for good food, good company, and a place to get away from the world, you've found your spot. Armando, always the consummate host, can cook a mean breakfast and is always working to make you feel right at home in front of the potbelly stove. We spent a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend at TierraLinda and saw the...

October 2007 It was a getaway to cherish! We were greeted by Armando, the innkeeper, upon our arrival. And from that first greeting, we were embraced by a world spun by the love and artistry of this man. We were able to celebrate nature in the most charming inn and property available to man and canine. At once, the lines...

Please read this review if you are looking to experience something "Magical!" If you are into fancy Victorian style B&B, this is not it. If you are looking to reconnect with nature and experience the meaning of the word "Happiness", than spend a weekend with Armando and the Puppies. I had many bed and breakfast places to choose from, and...

A great place to stay for a get-away to Galena. It's located on a hillside in the country just outside of downtown. Although small by most B&B standards (two bedrooms) the ability to wander the acrage with it's old barn buildings, silo, pond, bridge and island, woods, and views of the Jo Davies County make for an exceptional location. The...

Two nights in this very warm and friendly B&B was just what we needed. The proprieter, Armando was kind and helpful, greeting us with a glass of wine and enthusiasm. His farmhouse (1870s) is quaint and filled with interesting artwork. It is situated on a large parcel of rolling farmland, complete with hiking trails, pond, large trees and very friendly...
