The staff are very helpful and friendly. The Classic Room is very small for a four star hotel, best to upgrade to an Executive Room. The room and bathroom were very clean. The restaurant food for dinner was excellent, not so the cooked breakfast - bacon over cooked, thin anaemic sausages, and egg with a yolk that was barely yellow,...

A comfortable manor-house that has been transformed but retaining many of the original building features. Meeting room was OK with responsive service to requests. Light buffet lunch was fresh sandwiches and large cucumber slices (in balsamic vinegar?) so not very enterprising. Bedroom comfortable and dinner well cooked and served (possibly too quickly for a single diner) in attractive restaurant.

Stayed one night in October. Hotel is in a lovely setting. Check in was painless and reception staff very pleasant and obliging. The room we had was clean spacious enough but maybe a bit tired and could do with a refurb. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere lovely efficient staff and a varied menu - the food was excellent. I'm...

Only had 1 night here but wouldn't have minded another couple. Plenty of parking, easy check-in process, nice room (not very big but quite acceptable), lovely meal in the restaurant and a fine breakfast. The Maitre'd thought I had to wait too long between my starter and main so gave me a free glass of Malbec. I didn't think the...

We booked a two night stay over the weekend and would recommend you pay a little extra to stay in one of the featured rooms. We booked the cathedral room and it was brilliant. There was a bit of an issue with the heating but the staff couldn't do enough to try to sort it out and our thanks to...

We ate in the resturant last night and would highly recommend the food here, staff are friendly and helpful.

On arrival the reception was efficient, and my room was available early, the hotel was very clean and tidy and is very central to exploring Gloucestershire, we had a good evening meal and breakfast and the staff were very helpful, all with a good sense of humour. We had a good time and will probably go back next year when...

Our room was clean and spacious, with ensuite, refreshments, robes, slippers and toiletries. It did not have any views, but there was an enclosed terrace for a morning cuppa if so desired. A good choice of breakfast was on offer at a self service area. The staff were helpful, but at times were preoccupied. It took a while to get...

Grand looking old Manor House, impressive on arrival. Good overall staff service, friendly and obliging. Our room was clean with a lovely touch of fluffy bath robes, slippers and large snugly towels. It did however smell a little damp, the net curtains looked very tired and the view of a dirty flat roof is what really let it down (room 224)....
