This Hilton Garden Inn is the perfect place for an overnight if you have an early flight out of ORD. The place couldn't be better, great beds, wonderful staff at the front desk, smiles all around. Hated to leave at 5 AM because we missed breakfast!
Perfect quick and cordial very late night check in. Spotlessly clean room and bath. Great bed. Shuttle was prompt and the drivers very courteous. Take a bow Hilton Garden Inn Chicago ORD…you are doing a great job! These weary travelers thank you.
We chose this hotel for service of a shuttle to O Hare Airport. Also the location is within walking distance of Rivers Casono. Room was clean and comfortable. The Garden Grille had delicious wings and Jim the bartender was very personable.
We missed a connecting flight in Chicago (thank you, TSA) and needed an unexpected place to crash for the night after a very long day. The reception staff was kinder than you could imagine, the hotel itself was spotless, and the bed was perhaps the most comfortable my wife and I have ever experienced.
This is a good stay near airport. Shuttle will pick you up and drop you at airport on the half hour. They even dropped us at the Rosemont metro station one morning so we could catch the blue line into downtown. ($5 for all day -trains and buses) We went to the museum of science and industry and it took us 2 hours each way on the CTA. We got off at Jackson and took a bus from Van Buren street across from the library. There is a bathroom in the library thank goodness! They are hard to find in the city. The #10 bus drops off right at the museum. On the way home we had to walk back to the hotel from the Rosemont station- took about 20 min/1 mile but an easy walk. The breakfast is a continental- we paid extra to include in our hotel price which was cheaper than buying it at the hotel. Included hot oatmeal and lots of toppings, yogurt, fresh cut up fruits, whole fruits, toast, bagels, muffins, danish, cereals. Coffee and hot chocolate. The hotel also has regular dining menu. We ate dinner one night. It was just okay. The next night we went to Giordano’s- about 10 min walk. Loved it! Overall a good stay. Clean hotel. No real complaints.…
Hotel was nice. Pricey for the parking and food not being included. Besides that the hotel was in a good location and we enjoyed our stay. Wish the restaurant would have been open longer or at least ability to order food later.
I drove 10 minutes from ORD airport and pulled through gated outdoor parking, this cost me $18 per night, and that's surprising because the hotel is not in the city and there are so much open space around to pull this one. I felt no acknowledgement of HH members, it's like who cares. Breakfast is not included, make sure this is communicated to you now. Rooms clean and beds are comfy. Big casino is next door, with so much free parking ; ) It's got pool, gym, and coins 1washer, 1dryer . C U Around.
I was here last week and it so happened to coincide during a very severe thunderstorm and high wind event. I arrived late from abroad and due to the time/storm, no shuttle was available for pick up. The staff member advised me to call an Uber and I would be reimbursed. It all worked as explained. The hotel is in the final stages of renovating. The rooms are done, but the lobby and public areas are not.
Customer service was terrible. They offered me $60 back off the price of my room but never gave me the credit. I was not pleased with the front desk staff. I will choose another hotel for my next trip.
The beds are okay. I guess they are renovating the hotel which is ok i guess but the loud banging in the wee hours of the morning and not getting told this upset me. Your staff specifically Tori and Nicole are absolute one the of the worst I’ve seen. As i was coming down from the hallway I heard Nicole yelling at one of your staffers who absolutely was so sweet and kind to me I wish I can remember their name. Tori on the other hand at night was rolling her eyes didnt have a face mask on correctly. Are we not living in a pandemic? Both of them combined made the stay worse. They seemed so unprofessional and I didn’t want to approach them after seeing how they treat their coworkers. I checked out with another woman who I expressed this too and she kept apologizing ( which it isnt her fault ! i felt bad for her in this working environment!!) She was absolutely so sweet though!! Also Nicole didnt mention that you need a vacx card to enter the pool or fitness center. Luckily i did but you think she’d have some common sense to tell your guest this information.…
