I really can't praise this place enough. If you want quiet, rural, self catering accommodation with lovely panoramic views, a lovely pool and sweet smelling gardens then this is the place. No laid on entertainment. No bar restaurant. But lots of peace and quiet with lots of little touches to ensure you come away remembering this is one quality place!...

We have had such a good week here. The setting of the apartments is beautifully peaceful. The view from both our apartments was memorable. We greatly enjoyed the swimming pool which is well cared for. The children became devoted fans of Leonardo the dog . He was very good with them. Guiseppe the caretaker was particularly helpful even though we...

My partner and I have had the most incredible time at Poggio Pozzetti. Upon arrival we were welcomed by the friendly staff (and Leonardo, the resident dog!) who showed us around our apartment - Ulivo. The views out to sea and towards the mountains are amazing, the pool area is clean, relaxing and unlike other hotels there's no rush to...

We stayed at Poggio Pozzetti in June 2016 in the Arancio apartment. A beautiful modern clean apartment built in the old style. We heard some rumours about difficulty on the A19 and finding PP. There were no problems with the A19 and the directions to PP were very well sign posted. The road up to PP is more of a...

This was our first visit to Sicily and after reading the reviews here we decided to stay at Poggio Pozzetti. This converted farm is a stunning place to stay. The apartment was beautiful and rustic. There are lots of animals on the site too - Donkeys, chickens and the best dog in the world - Leonardo. The pool is set...

This was our first trip to Sicily and we were completely satisfied that this was the perfect location to have stayed in. Beautiful place to stay with stunning views. The apartment comes with everything you will need, and even a lovely, very generous welcome pack with all the essentials including fresh eggs from the farm. There is very friendly dog...

This complex has 7 self contained apartments all sharing a pool and large sun terrace, there are a mixture of studios and 1 bed apartments, my advice is to go for the 1 bed as you'll pay underoccupancy for the studios and they are much smaller (studios have main bed on mezzanine level so little in the way of privacy...

After many years visiting Tuscany this was our first trip to Sicily, and without doubt Poggio Pozzetti is one of the best places we've ever stayed in, anywhere, and by far the best of the 3 places we stayed in Sicily. SO pleased we chose this after many days of trying to make up our minds, and finally swayed by...

We have just got back from 2 weeks at Poggio and really could not have asked for better accommodation. Breath-taking panoramic views, lovely little apartments with an amazing power shower, very clean and a great location for exploring the northern Sicilian coast. Lovely welcome basket for our arrival with wine, fruit, milk, coffee, bread etc - even 6 large bottles...

Absolutely stunning location and accommodation. Really clean Welcome pack on arrival milk bread wine etc. Stunning views would highly recommend. Thompson let this property down by not being truthful it is a three hour transfer from airport due to moterway being closed so you have to divert up mountains. The fact there are trees growing through the motorway says it's...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The center of rural tourism called "Poggio Pozzetti" is an oasis ideal for those who want to restore body and spirit through contact with nature and the ancient rural traditions of Sicily. Converted from an old eighteenth-century farmhouse and renovated according to the modern eco-friendly standards of sustainability and environmental harmony, Poggio Pozzetti is nestled among the olive trees of the Madonie Mountains and flanked by the Tyrrhenian Sea. The hotel offers accommodation by way of seven apartments, each with separate access. The apartments are in an impressive building made of stone which has been restored according to old Sicilian techniques, where the stone, wood, brick, iron, and ceramic all blend with the natural environment. The apartments are bright and spacious with large terraces or balconies, offering stunning views of the Madonie Mountains and the sea. ... more   less
