Attended a wedding recently in Kilronan and stayed overnight. The wedding was a delightful occasion - lovely function room and fabulous food. Had a very nice bedroom and breakfast was good. Walked the grounds before breakfast - real rural countryside. Staff could not be more helpful.

Enjoyed our 3rd wedding and overnight stay here. This time we spent the next morning relaxing using the pool and spa. Stayed for lunch and afternoon tea. It was brilliant, staff very friendly and helpful could not have done more. Hopefully will get to spend longer hear in the future.

We stayed for a couple of nights in August 2015. Our room was gorgeous, and the beds were oh so comfortable. The pool and sauna are lovely after a day of sightseeing. I wish we had made an appointment at the spa. One evening we treated ourselves to a high end dinner and it was the best meal of our...

From the long driveway to the entrance you get the feeling you have arrived at somewhere special. The friendly greeting at reception and the show around were faultless,We were very surprised we were upgraded to a suite in the castle area or perhaps this is standard on the romantic package. The bedroom and bathroom were huge and the toiletries luxurious...

From the second we drove up the driveway until we left we were smiling! It is the first time I have stayed somewhere where I couldn't actually fault anything. The welcoming staff can not do enough for you and all the little touches during our stay made it one to remember. The spa was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed our...

The view over the lake from our 4th floor room was incredible, the room was large comfortable and that view was something else. The peace and tranquility here have to be seen to be believed. This place is set in majestic surroundings and upon arrival through a medieval gate the drive up to the front will take your breath away as the castle comes into view. The rooms are spacious and in keeping with castle décor from the Dungeon Bar to the drawing room, there is also a lift in addition to stairs to the...

Fantastic food, excellent staff. A faultless location for a short break. Fantastic walks in the hotel grounds and a short drive to Lough Key if you want somewhere to explore. The quality of the cuisine was outstanding.

Stayed here with a group of friends and found it very relaxing and peaceful. The original building has been sensitively restored and whilst I'm not sure about the appearance of the large extension that's been added, it is spacious and comfortable. The room was well maintained and clean and had all that was necessary for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was...
