My son and I recently stayed here overnight in order to attend a Chicago Cubs game. I chose the hotel primarily because if its proximity and because, although it wasn't cheap, it was far less expensive than other hotels. Well, what a mistake! After wandering around sweltering Chicago, we arrived at the hotel for some r & r prior to...

The hotel is conveniently located in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. They offer parking for a $30 fee and if you have a pet they also charge an additional $75 fee. The rooms are small and the hotel needs some updating. On the flip side, it is walking distance to shops and great restaurants on Clark Street as well as the...

It was within a 20 minute walk to Wrigley Field. There were many good restaurants in the immediate area. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. The hotel and rooms were very clean. However our room was very, very small and hard to get around in. The bathroom was so tiny that I've been in outhouses that were larger....

I waited till the last min to book our room😡. We go to a cubs game a couple times a year. The place we normally stay was booked. The room was very clean and the beds are great! The staff was very friendly when we checked in. But for $522.80 on 2 nights and $60.00 for parking?!? I will take...

First the good stuff. Great location ,free breakfast, friendly helpful staff. Our room was clean and the bed good. The bad- The renovation done in 08 must have not included our room. It has been poorly maintained by incompetent handy-persons. None of the repairs we observed were not professional on any level. Everything was done half-assed. Looking around the room...

I needed a place to house my parents who visited Chicago in late June. This is an old turn of the last century style building with a big check in desk offering free apples, wood panelling, and totally comfortable waiting area with tourist brochure stands. I half expected to see Horace Vandergelder check in for the weekend. The room had...

We booked through an online site. The pictures were pretty accurate. Pros: nice area, friendly staff, breakfast okay, historic type building, clean room, walking distance to zoo, museums, El stop is a few blocks, bus 1/2 block, shopping within 1/2 block. Cons: very dated, no a/c in Windows yet, so our room was quite stuffy, water pressure is horrible (remember...

I wanted a hotel north of the Loop. This hotel has very reasonably priced rooms for being in Lincoln Park. I paid $127.00 for one night. The room that I booked was on the fourth floor. The room was very clean, but very small by American standards. It appeared to be in an old building, which may account for the...
