You get a free shuttle from airport to hotel. Drop bags, then walk to the train station and catch the blue line to the loop. Hotel itself has a nice breakfast, and nice rooms. Very neat indoor/outdoor pool. Overall, a much better than typical ‘airport’...More
Normal Marriott quality in the hotel setting. Plus points for still having USA Today’s for the guests (Pet peeve with Marriott right now). Service was very good. Rooms updated. Restaurant, eat elsewhere, $50.00 piece if very average fish,

I have regular business in the O’Hare area - The Marriott O’Hare is well situated. The staff is extremely helpful and kind. The hotel is one parking lot away from the Cumberland Blue Line station which is very convenient. While my room was too warm...More

Terminal 5 is the international terminal. My first arrival there was from St. Louis and so it was not the international terminal, it was basically walking outside after getting luggage and then crossing the road (jkwebb had it correctly, across from the Hilton). After our trip to Italy, we came back on an international flight, so it was a different part of the airport to terminal 5, not anywhere near our first flight. I had asked at the front desk at the Marriott where to go for our return flight pickup, and they said just to call them when we got thru customs with our luggage. It ended up being right outside the international terminal. I don't think those run as often as the domestic flights. So yes, as Bob F said above, have their phone number handy and they will be there to get you. It all was very smooth.
