No other Chicago hotel has inspired more legendary acclaim on par with The Drake. This timeless property affords guests easy access to the city's most exclusive shopping, nightlife and dining. A fully equipped fitness/wellness center, business center and meeting rooms are available (surcharge). The stunning Gold Coast Room can accommodate 600 guests. Afternoon Tea at The Drake, A Hilton Hotel is as Chicago as a hot dog at Wrigley Field or a ride on the Ferris Wheel at Navy Pier. High society has always recognized The Drake Hotel as the quintessential social hotspot. Princess Diana, Queen Elizabeth and the Empress of Japan have all been seen in the Palm Court. Though The Drake has progressed both architecturally and technologically over the past 93 years, the roots of The Drake Hotel run deep beneath Lake Shore Drive into Real Chicago.

Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale. Some of the city’s most iconic buildings like the Wrigley Building, John Hancock Center and other architectural marvels define the magnificence of this neighborhood.

I really appreciate the genuine caring the staff has for its guests. The hotel was well-decorated for the holidays. I was here for a conference and the conference food was very good. I definitely would stay here again.

I am a repeat visitor at the Drake, this being my 4th stay in 8 years. Each time I come here I find myself enjoying it more and more and I always learn something new about the hotel or Chicago whenever I am here.
This property is lovely, but be prepared to pay for it! We stayed one night and parked our vehicle for 24 hours and our bill (no add-ons) was $445.
The bed was comfortable and the room very clean. The windows were dirty, which proves we...More
