I travel frequently, both for business and pleasure. More often than not, I arrive before the official check-in time, and if I'm lucky the room is ready. The hotel has no control over that, so it truly is a matter of luck. However, this hotel chooses to charge guests a fee if they would like to check in early, if...

31wong, Thank you for taking the time to submit your review. I am sorry to hear that the Raffaello did not meet your expectations. We do apologize for the fees that seem to have inconvenienced you and for the text messages. We do hope that you will return, nonetheless and find a more quality stay in our hotel. Sarah

Clean & simple room, good size, excellent location. Exceptional - but expensive - rooftop bar. Hallways were noisy and there was some disturbing in our room. Not a restaurant for breakfast, only quick coffee and donuts - that was a downside. You need to have breakfast in the room.

The Raffalello is a good choice for staying in downtown Chicago - great balance of price, comfort, amenities, and location. This was our second stay and we will do so again. Pros - very good staff, good food, great bar, comfortable rooms, generally excellent service. Cons - pricey parking.

The Raffeallo hotel was great! The staff were very helpful and attentive. The room was very spacious and clean and well worth the money. The hotel is in an amazing location, being just steps from the John Hancock building and a short walk from Michigan Ave. Overall, a great experiene!

The reception was not as polite as one may expect in a US hotel. Noboday informed us that they serve breakfast. In the morning there was a long queue at the coffee shop, it took me more than 20 min. to get a tea, finally I purchased a coffee. The rooms are okay. The Music at the Drumbar was extremely...

You aren't coming to Chicago to stay in your room. Save the money for the a Ritz, stay here instead and spend your extra cash on Michigan Ave. hotel has a fabulous location. Rooms are large and comfortable. Bathroom a little tiny and elevators small and slow. Great service. Walk to everything.

Had a great time at the hotel. Great location. Room was cozy and comfortable. Staff was helpful at all times. Door Valet's were all very accommodating. Located close to great restaurants and shopping. Great stay for anyone looking to enjoy what North Michigan Avenue has to offer. We will return.

Went for my friends 50th birthday. Hotel was very nice and so close to everything we needed The service at the drum bar was very disappointing. We were given 4 drink credits by the manager at front desk and we went to bar at 10 pm and they said that the bar service was closed and could only get bottled...

We arrived to the news that we had been upgraded to a suite! The room decor was a bit tired but we had a very comfortable bed and two massive flat screen TVs. The room didn't have a safe. The donut shop in the lobby is good but some other breakfast choices (like croissants and bagels) would make it great....

Staying in Streeterville

Neighbourhood Profile
Streeterville
Streeterville is where visitors head for play at Navy Pier, a pseudo amusement park and development of restaurants, shops, rides, and other activities. You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the docks. Along the pier, you’ll see the statue of the captain for whom Streeterville is named. While you enjoy your fair share of sightseeing at the pier, you can also visit other popular attractions there such as the Chicago Children’s Museum and the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Off the pier you’ll find more restaurants from low-cost pubs to high-end establishments. Arts and culture aficionados should be sure not to miss the Museum of Contemporary Art.
