Queen room, booked directly, was tiny. No drawers , no full length mirror, tiny "nightstand." Close to $200/night. Only saving grace was this hotel's great location; room managed a partial view of the river and lake; and able to check in early at 11:30 a.m.

Yikes this room may be the smallest I've ever encountered. I was told that it was a standard room and that I would have to pay an upgrade fee for a larger normal size room. Good location. Very nice and professional staff! Nice modern lobby with lounges open late...very helpful. ***The bathroom was so small you almost have to step...

Great location and good $ for downtown Chicago. Would have given 5 stars except our room wasn't ready at check in time. Staff was friendly and rooms were updated and comfortable. Close to Millennium Park and walking distance to many attractions.

This hotel was good overall. However, upon my arrival I needed to speak to my boss back home. I was on my cell and the connection was awful. I would later find that cell service throughout the hotel was spotty at best. I hung up my cell and called back on the hotel phone and we spoke for 17 minutes....

I stayed two nights during a business trip. The hotel staff was friendly, professional, and accommodating. My room was refreshingly clean and modern. The tv was huge! The location was difficult to get to due to rush hour chaos but on the positive side the hotel had easy access to shopping. I would definitely stay here again.

This large conference hotel had all the usual Hyatt amenities and was very quiet considering the size of it – two towers. I highly suggest staying in the East tower since it was closer to the main part of the hotel which has the concierge, lobby, a marketplace that serves Starbucks and a restaurant. It is also very centrally located...

I stayed at the Hyatt Regency for 5 days during the How Design Live Conference. It was ultra convenient to stay at the same hotel as the conference, and they had some rooms blocked off with a small discount because of this. The conference ballrooms were really nice, but really spread apart so there was definitely a lot of walking...

The bar staff was amazing but everyone else was terrible. I was locked out of my room until 2am and they finally drilled the lock and moved me rooms. They gave me free water coupons and offered to buy me a bar tab but it closed at 12.
