This hotel is not without its faults but it can serve as a serviceable base for a Chicago trip. I would recommend this hotel but only if the price is right. Just spent a busy 3 nights/4 days in Chicago and the Travelodge Downtown Chicago was our choice primarily due to its location and price. We spent very little time...

The lobby is beautiful & updated. It's like a time warp when you step out of the elevator & into your room. Excellent location but needs some updating in all areas other than the lobby. Parking is $40 a night which can be expected in the city but still insane to me. . . I guess for the price point...

Okay, so it's not the Ritz Carlton...but what it lacks in amenities it makes up for in locale. Nestled right in the middle of downtown - you can cross the street towards Lakeshore Drive towards the parks and museums or head left towards State St. for shopping galore. The room is basic and pretty bare bones - there was no...

I was looking to find somewhere to sleep, and it fulfilled that requirement. It was clean enough, had enough space, and the folks at the front desk were nice enough! However, it was loud at night from outdoors (and I was on the 4th floor with the windows closed), loud from indoors (from nearby hotel attendees), and the curtains didn't...

I recently stayed at Travelodge Chicago for my most recent visit to the city, and I must that my experience was amazing! A trip to a first rate city like Chicago deserves Third World charm. That is Travelodge Chicago. I knew that luxury beckoned as I stepped over the panhandler sleeping in front of the entrance. It was at the...

Read several poor reviews but ours was very nice. The main floor was renovated a bit but the building is old and rooms were less updated. Doesn't mean they weren't clean though! It would have been great to know the history of the building. The staff was VERY helpful with directions and the parking garage staff was just a helpful...

I had read the reviews before staying here and knew I was going to an okay hotel. I went to visit family and wanted to be centrally located. The location was great and centrally located. Things that need improving: There were 5 of us (3 adults, a baby and a toddler) and we stayed for 9 DAYS. We all bathed...
