I rate hotels based in some few things and the hotel is overall, a great option: Location: Just Perfect. Accomodations: The room was very very big and comfortable. The rooms and corridors look a little "old" and could use some remodeling, but it's clean and comfortable. Employees: All employess where super helpful and nice. Price: Considering all of the above,...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 17 March 2017

This is an older boutique hotel but in the BEST location in Downtown Chicago. Our room was on the 21st floor overlooking the Magnificent Mile. The room is very simple, with a refrigerator (no microwave). Beds were comfortable. The staff was fantastic. No issues encountered. Very affordable in a great location. Within walking distance to shopping, attractions, restaurants and bars.

The Inn of Chicago is a bit down at the heels. Frayed carpets, loud and ancient airco's, tiny bathrooms etc. But everything worked, and the beds were fine. But the location cannot be beat. It is right at the magnificent mile, and all the interesting places in Chicago can easily be reached by foot or the efficient public transportation system.....

Booked through Booking.com. Was under the impression that I had booked a refundable room with a flexible cancellation policy, but it was not. Within 5 minutes, I called Booking.com called the property to change the reservation over to the other type of reservation, but the manager would not do it. I called him personally and spoke to him very cordially...

I stayed here during a tour of Chicago- I was a single traveller as part of a group. As I often find, I was put in a room near the vending and ice machines! The hotel is very well situated and surrounded by plenty of eateries and the little cafe attached to the reception area is good enough for light...

Location is great. At checkout the hospitality was amazing. Checkout a different story. I was treated horribly because i was overcharged.T he girl at the counter acted as though I was doing something wrong. But they still overcharged me despite the email I showed them. The heat in the room did not work.I would not recommend anyone to stay at...

The hotel is old and outdated. My room was on the 21st floor, and when the elevator door opened up I was very disappointed. The carpet from the elevator to my room was in terrible condition. Location is great, everything within a walking distance. That is probably why it's relaively expensive. Because room is a bit shabby, with dirty looking and loose carpeting, very noisy a/c in the room and noisy vending machine outside the room. Even when the a/c is off, it is still making an annoying buzzing sound. The so-called gym is also really...
