My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The location was excellent for taking in a live show or just walking the famous streets of Chicago. It was like staying in a classic style of the 30's and 40's. The room was very comfortable with great beds and furniture. The staff were very friendly and professional. The free breakfast was very good with assorted options. With 3 elevators, the wait time was short. I would stay here again on my next trip to Chicago.

We came up for the weekend for our anniversary. We walked from the train station, which was a nice walk. We ended up walking around 15 miles over the weekend so it wasn’t bad . The hotel was very clean, staff were very pleasant, breakfast was appreciative! Love the history of the building!

The whole experience at the hotel has been brilliant. The staff is extremely welcoming. The room was very clean. Mattress and pilows really comfortable. The location is inbeateable. I will definitely be back and with no doubt, I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the beautiful city of Chicago.

My friends and I stayed here two nights for a concert and some Chicago sightseeing. The location of this hotel is perfect for walking to many restaurants and sights, we valeted the car the entire weekend and walked everywhere including to the station to take the L to Wrigley for the concert - much easier and cheaper than an Uber. The service here was fabulous and although the breakfast was very busy and crowded at times the staff kept it well stocked. Although it’s an older hotel our room was very large! No complaints.

We had a spacious room with standard Hampton furnishings and bathroom (this is a biggie for us and much appreciated when we travel). Our room was super quiet which improved our sleep. It is a well-run hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Ray, the valet parking attendant, did a really great job and gave us outstanding recommendations.

I am so glad we chose this hotel! I read a lot of Trip Advisor reviews that mentioned other downtown Chicago hotels with small rooms. We had a room on the 17th floor and it was very quiet (there are only about 9 rooms on each floor as far as I could tell). The room we had was perfect for 2 of us. Room was very clean and the bathroom totally remodeled. Even had an easy chair in there!! Coffee machine and frig but no microwave. They are only doing housekeeping every 4 days but would pick up trash, provide extra towels, etc if requested. On the third day we requested towels at the front desk and by the time we got up to our room, the man was there with our towels. Never had hotel service that fast! Breakfast was good, with coffee and hot water 24/7 along with cookies in the early evenings. The breakfast area was small but we were always able to find a table. The front desk provided trays for those who wanted to take their breakfast to their room. Security was good - you had to have a key to go to any floors above the lobby as well as enter the building after 10 pm. All the front desk personnel were so friendly. and Sophia was very helpful and patient when I was trying to understand my bill. Location is perfect with easy access to the Blue and Red lines. This hotel is my go-to for Chicago visits from now on!…

On the Friday of Labor Day weekend I arrived at the hotel at 10:30 am, and was was greeted by Robyn at the front desk. Robyn was extremely pleasant and surprised me by saying I could get access to my room. Then, as I was grabbing a cup of free coffee, even though the breakfast service had been closed, Ismeta asked me if I wanted a bagel and yogurt, and went into the back to get both when I told her that would be great. The next morning, both of them were as pleasant, gracious and accommodating as they had been the day before. The hotel is very nice, with rooms that are much larger than most of the hotels in The Loop, and fantastic bang for the buck. Because there are only about 10-12 rooms per floor, it's extremely quiet, and I slept soundly that night. Based on the overall experience and the outstanding customer service, this Hampton Inn will be at the top of my list for my next visit to Chicago. Stayed for a Saturday night while we spent the weekend in the city. Had a king room on the 19th floor. The location of this hotel is unbeatable. VERY close to the L, right in the loop. Surprisingly, the hotel is quiet, no street noise to keep us awake. The room was smaller than most comparable rooms at other hotels, but it was adequate for us. The room and bathroom were spotless (I even tried finding dirt/hair, and I couldn’t) I would give this hotel 5 stars, but this is the inconvenience: the breakfast (which is always good at Hampton locations) was so busy. The lobby was painfully small so there were no places to sit. A lot of people were getting their plates and going back to their room, but then that led to a really long line for the elevators (which were tiny). Maybe going earlier in the morning would have been better? Even with that, I would definitely stay here again and I would recommend this hotel as well.…
