I stayed in a double with a buddy. Twin bunk beds. Small room but great price. Shared bathroom was in great shape. Lounge was super cool. Played pool. Great price for the stay. Would deffinitly stay again. They even have thire their own house keeping. Some /a lot of hostels require you to clean you room or older your sheets....

Great and friendly hostel with lovely and helpful staff. A little noise as is an old warehouse so bring ear plugs! Our room was cleaned daily and the location is great! Would recommend to anyone - seemed to be a mix of family's and travellers.

I think this is very affordable way to enjoy overnight stays in Chicago. The stairs were a bit daunting, but everything was clean and the location was very good. I liked being near the subway station. I alos liked the restaurants in the area.

Great place to stay, I and two friends were staying for two nights, and it was probably one of the best places I have stayed in my life. Great location (about 5mi from downtown), and a beautiful neighborhood.

Everything was great, the service, staff, the bedrooms are clean. Has free breakfast. Excellent location, in nice neighborhood. Is near to the subway station. Also near to restaurants, bars and shopping.

A good alternative in an expensive area. Clean, nice staff and generally a pleasant atmosphere. Would recommend and stay again. Rooms are a bit cramped. Breakfast is not extensive but there its a good start at least.

Really disappointed. We were on the second floor, under the dining room and it was really noisy until midnight. I also had an issue with my credit card, they didn't put the good amount... Except its good location, I won't recommend this hotel...

This is the first time that I have stayed at a hostel that has a kitchen IN the dorm room, very cool. The dorm room is very spacious and also has a bathroom and a couch. Lockers are also available in the room. Breakfast was minimal and not the best (just the usual coffee, cereal, bagels). Great location and an...

Commited to a family trip (mom + 6 kids) before thinking through the logistics and price. There is no such thing as a downtown hotel room for 7, at least not one i could afford without a second mortgage. Then i stumbled on Urban Holiday Lofts. Bunk room, shared bath, no frills, clean, comfortable hostel definitely fit the bill...literally. The...

My husband and adult son had stayed here previously. So when looking for a place to stay to visit family and attend the Frozen Four Hockey Tournament it was an easy decision. A couple of blocks to the blue line into Chicago and O'Hare, free on street parking, large private room for 3, hot showers, organic market next door, blocks...
