This is a great home base for a show with the kids. We were big on the Michigan Marriott, but they removed the pool so we were forced to try the JW and I am glad we did. The service is better, the lounge is better and the bar is much better.

Stayed for four nights here in August with my wife two kids, my parents and sister. I have a fondness for JW Marriotts as I am rarely disappointed and the JW Marriott was no exception! We had two renovated rooms that were spacious and very well maintained. The pool was better than average for a city hotel pool. The concierge...

For all you Gold and Platinum Marriott peeps, this concierge lounge is one of the best (in the states) I have been too. The dinner selection for food was on point and they offered a good selection of wine. Plus, the attendant was a wealth of knowledge on Chicago and was very pleasant. As for the hotel....an amazing staff. You...

Good sized room, friendly hotel staff. Close to shopping, restaurants, etc. Nice alternative to staying on Michigan avenue. Large lobby but not overrun with too many people. Good restaurant onsite too.

As a platinum member, I was told I was upgraded, so was surprised to find the room was more worn and smaller than I had imagined. The small desk had surface bubbles and was scraped all over... Don't think it was suppose to be shabby chic. The bed was not very comfortable, especially on the right side where anytime I...

Visiting for a long weekend to see Hamilton, our friends recommended this hotel. We found it to be in a great location downtown. We walked to the Field Museum in 20 minutes for a daytime adventure, and the theatre was only 6 blocks away. The hotel itself has that classic feel. Lots of marble, nice lounge bar, mellow, yet cosmopolitan...

I really wanted to love this hotel - I stayed in a JW in Dubai and thought it was the best stay ever. This hotel is beautiful - old world charm. However there were a couple of things that tainted my stay here so I can only say it was average. First off I got the feeling that the hotel...

This hotel is first class - the concierge, the service and the accommodations. As soon as you walk into the hotel, you are struck by how beautiful and upscale the lobby is - high ceilings, marble floors and a fireplace. The front desk staff were very welcoming. We were in town to see "Hamilton" so it was a short stay...

Service, attitude, accommodations - all way above par. Outstanding from the moment one walks through the door. This hotel even smells good. It feels boutique-like though i know it is not. The concierge lounge is maybe the very best i've experience in the Marriott chain of hotels. Highly recommend this beautiful hotel. Did i mention how quiet the rooms are?...

The hotel is nicely renovated (I don't know when, but it looked very clean and new) in an excellent location in downtown hotel. The check-in was very smooth and the staff named Lilian was just very professional, courteous and listened to my concern very well. Even though her solution wasn't what I was looking for, she explained the situation very...
