Booking: Pretty seamless, everything online, and my Hilton Honors membership gave me a good flexible rate Location and access: Arrived in MDW and it was one train ride to Roosevelt station, and a short walk to the hotel. Bus stops are 1 to 2-min walk from the hotel. Very easy and convenient to take the bus to go around (Tip: Get the $5 CTA pass for 24hours -- great value, can be used in buses and trains!). Room: No complaints with our studio suite. Everything was working, towels available. Plenty of power sources (sockets, USB hubs). Small kitchen had fridge, microwave oven, Keurig, dishwasher. We arrived early but grateful that we were able to get in our room even before 4PM. Hotel amenities: Coin-operated washer available though we didn't use it. Breakfast available daily -- pretty standard but filling (eggs, bread, sausage/bacon, fruits). Complimentary coffee, tea, and hot chocolate available all day at the lobby. We didn't make it to the socials night but it's also free for guests. They will also store your luggage for free in a locked room after your check out. Will we stay on this hotel again? Yes, definitely! We checked similar hotels in the area and I think Homewood Suites give great value for money with the breakfast offering, kitchen equipment en suite, and complimentary stuff. We didn't have any issues with the staff and everyone was helpful. Stayed here for a family vacation while exploring downtown Chicago. We throughly enjoyed our stay. Beds are comfy, nights are quiet, pool was clean. Breakfast was hot with lots of options. Hotel is walking distance to Shedd aquarium and Field museum as well as Rosevelt train station. We also walked to the Bean from the hotel. Great stay, zero complaints.

This place is a solid 4 star but closer to 5 than a 3 and that's for one reason, customer service! The hotel is beautiful, there are places to eat and hangout in the area, and security was pretty good. All of the staff was nice and hospitable but special recognition goes to Lorena. From the moment I walked into the hotel, I was greeted and treated with respect. Lorena answered all my questions and offered to be of any more help if I needed it. The only issue I have is that the only parking is valet parking but that's not really a huge problem for someone familiar with Chicago. There is a parking lot literally a block from the hotel so I parked there. If there were parking this place is a solid 5.

Gustavo and Jonoa were the absolute best. Those made our anniversary stay amazing! The rooms were clean and cool. It’s the best choice if you want amazing views Lake It’s close the the Navy Pier with lots of options for eating and entertainment . I can’t over state how awesome the staff was! The hospitality was the best! I feel like I received 1st Class , 5 star service! They work hard to continue to check in with you during your stay. The free breakfast wasn’t good. I wish I could say something about. It just sucked, horribly.

Apparently just because check in is at 4pm that doesn’t mean you will have a place to stay. Instead I was told it could be at least 7pm before I have a room. I was told to go and wait. I waited and while doing so overhead multiple people being given a room like the one I reserved and even one man received an “upgrade” to the type of room I reserved (to which I was told none were available). There were 3 towels in my room and 4 people staying in it. When I requested more towels and Kleenex I never received them. I then asked if housekeeping could do a room refresh to empty trash and put new towels in; however as I was only there 3 nights I was told no. Never once during my stay was I greeted or engaged by staff without me having to initiate it, and even then it was not with a how can I help attitude but rather with a what do you want attitude as you are interrupting me. This is the worst customer service experience I have ever had at a hotel. I will not stay here again. The beds are old, linens cheap and do not fit well, the bathroom had a broken towel bar, blackout curtains were broken in an area. …

I have stayed here a few times over that last few years for business, and It's a great location with really nice city and lake views in the corner suites. I needed to extend my stay this time and was having issues with my app so I went downstairs to discuss it with the front desk. Maya was working the front desk and was so profesional and friendly. I usually don't write reviews, but Maya and her property really deserve to be noticed. I definitely recommend staying here if you are in the area.

Wish I was told about having to pay again when you check in. I payed for 4 nights and the room which was nearly 1000 then when I got there I had to pay again for a “deposit” of 300 and was caught off guard kinda ruined my trip.

Good Hotel at a reasonable price. Clean but room cleaning did not come around often. Good breakfast, consistently replenishing even getting close to end time. Okay location. Good upkeep but I think they used dirty water to clean the floors, didn’t smell super pleasant all the time. Overall I would recommend and would come back. No major complaints.

Stayed here on business. My biggest complaint is that the digital key only worked for my room so multiple times I was stuck in the lobby unable to get to my room because I didn’t have the physical key on me (I thought this was the point of the digital key). The sheets smelled slightly of BO but the hotel cleaning staff is overworked so I just flipped the sheets around myself. Also, any time I would go to try to talk to the front desk they were busy or grumpy so I didn’t try to ask for anything else. I tried to call down from my room to get around an awkward interaction with them (how I always felt trying to ask) and I couldn’t ever get a hold of anyone.
