The room itself was fine, no complaints there. However, definitely overpriced for what is offered. No water or coffee in the lobby, seriously? With a group that rented a meeting room, to which almost no service was provided - they left the lunch in the room overnight and never did clear it out the next day! Check-in staff was friendly, but overall service for guests is lacking.

Perfect for arrival or early departures with a shuttle service and friendly staff. The restaurant and breakfast are adequate. Rooms further up are better due to road noise. Lifts are a little slow but there are 3

We have often stayed here when we drive to Chicago. There is easy and convenient access to the Interstate; parking is free (a rarity in O'Hare area hotels) and, for going to areas where parking is difficult--downtown, the Loop, River North-- there's a CTA Blue Line station a short walk away. The surrounding neighborhood is not particularly exciting and has little in the way of good restaurants, but it's easy to get to more interesting parts of town. This was our first post-pandemic trip. The advantages of location remained; room price, by Chicago standards, was still reasonable (in spite of inflation); but other aspects had faded a bit. Our room was modestly but functionally furnished, with good storage space. In-house Wifi works, but has no security features. TV was OK. The bed, which takes up most of the room, was large and comfortable. Bathroom was clean and decently outfitted. Room had both a microwave and a small fridge. The air-conditioning worked and kept the room comfortable (during our trip, in typical Chicago fashion, it was both hot and chilly) but it was often louder than ideal. Our room, which was on a low floor and facing the very busy, high-traffic main street (Cumberland Road) was nonetheless pretty quiet. The room was clean and well-set up when we arrived, but, as is the new normal, there was no room-cleaning, towel- or linen-changing during our 3-day stay. The front desk seemed understaffed and the people working there sometimes frazzled and a bit confused. The breakfast buffet (either free with the room or for a modest fee, depending on the deal you have), which in the past was a very pleasant way to start the day, was noticeably lower quality, with more pre-frozen microwaved items, not freshly cooked. Coffee was still OK, but not quite so good as in the past. This is an airport hotel and is filled with international tourists, business travelers (more blue-collar it seemed, a lot of people who worked at the airport) and air crews. Since we weren't flying, I can't comment on the regular airport shuttle, which runs all day. All in all, this is still a decent choice, but maybe not quite so good as it had been in the past.

Wet carpet in hotel room - an AC that sounds like a German bomber - a toilet that refreshes the water three tes an hour - and a breakfast where every ingredient cocnsist of 80% salt. And all for the lovely price of almost 200$ a night… I think sleeping u der bridge turns out better. #ShameIHG

The one out take I have about the United Sates post C-h-i-n-aaah Virus, the staff have forgotten about the customer, and this place is the epitome of it, they are appalling, they are about themselves, this place is awful and as an IHG Platinum ( LOL - What does that get me? ) I would recommend you look elsewhere

The hotel website boasts an airport shuttle but I waited 1 and half hours for it. As with all Americans they believe the USA is the whole planet and when I asked by email before my trip I was told to wait at door 2. This was the domestic terminal and despite phoning from the international terminal 5 times the front desk did not have a clue about the shuttle location. It apparently runs every 45 minutes but after 5 phone calls it took 90 minutes.Despite being an IHG member for over 30 years I will stay at the on airport Hilton next time. It would have also been nice to use / sit by the pool for an hour or 2 but it looked like a bomb site and was covered and locked despite temperatures of 80 degrees.

Awesome and convenient hotel, good staff and good value for money, was on a business travel so the hotel was a convenient pit stop. Supportive staff members and had a pleasure to visit the restaurant & bar at the ground floor which was amazing.

Terrible experience. Front desk staff surly. Room walls dirty. Linens only changed if you ask (excuse is covid). Pick up breakfast bags at front desk on weekends (again, excuse is covid. Don't bother! Go to IHOP next door) No coffee in lobby on weekends--you guessed it--Covid. No cleaning supplies in the exercise room. Front outer door broken and always open causing cold center atrium. M-F breakfasts good. Plenty of parking. Noisy halls at night at all hours. TV needed constant fiddling to work.

I stayed here a few years ago and it was average then. I was motivated by cheap weekday rates, but a huge caveat here: they do not provide transport to ORD any longer, so add $15 on Uber for the trip to the airport. I'm a IHG elite traveler, but no recognition, bottled water, nada. I'd stay elsewhere.

I live 5 hours away so I stayed at this Holiday Inn Express last night to be rested for an important job interview the next day. I parked in front, in clear sight of the main front doors. This morning, I set out for my interview and found that my Catalytic converter had been stolen off my car, along with the 02 censors. I find it suspicious that no one at the front desk noticed? Almost late to the interview. Then i had no way back home. Hotel couldnt have cared less. I was told that the manager of the hotel was not working. Called customer service and corporate and apparently they don’t care about the service their chains provide. Had to find a garage and $1,600.00 and 4 hours later later, I’m ready to drive back home. Furthermore, I wasn’t the only customer robbed. If you want rest and relaxation, do yourself a favor and drive past this hotel. There are hotels that treat their customers better.
