We reserved the room for 3 people but one of the beds was not made when we arrived and there was nobody to help. In the following day we requested housekeeping but no one showed. Nobody cared about our complaints in the hotel. We were completely ignored
The reception staff was super friendly. The rooms smelled freshly cleaned. The staff in the breakfast area were great and kept everything immaculate. For a continental breakfast, by far the best I’ve had. We stayed here to attend a convention at McCormick place. You are able to walk from the hotel to the convention center without going outside .
Overall a great place to stay. I do not have any complaints. Cleanig staff was great. All staff also was great. Breakfast was not the best but enough to find something and get something in to start the day. Gym, pool and laundry rooms were great. Wish the hotel had a place to smoke inside the property, I had to step out to smoke which is fine. Very fun place.
Had a one night stay in a King suite with kitchenette and sofa bed. Desk and other staff were very pleasant. A reasonably good set of choices in the breakfast buffet. Laundry was efficient, and use of the machines was complementary. Also one of the better exercise rooms I've used in a hotel.
My room REEKED of cigarette smoke. I hoped it might lessen over time, but it stunk all night, so badly I could barely sleep.. I wish I'd changed rooms. TIP: ask to visit the room offered before checking in or else change immediately, if the room sinks.
The hotel is good overall and the staff was nice. It was disappointing to find out that the housekeeping never showed up after I requested it. The shower ran out of soap and the water pressure was terrible.
We Were in CHICAGO for A college VOLLEYBALL GAME and THE BULLS GAME! PEFECT, left the car parked in the hotel lot and did Lyft. Nice place, clean, safe, but could use king size pillows for the king size bed
I took my son there for his 13 birthday. He loves it. He enjoyed the swimming pool. The Hotel was new and amazing clean. The staffs was amazing and the valet staffs was helpful. We are planning coming back again.
Recently stayed at this property for a conference at McCormick Place. The rooms are not very big but very functional. I stayed in a king studio suite. It would be big enough for 2 people comfortably. The room was clean and in good shape. This property seems to be newer. They don't automatically clean the room every day unless requested. This is explained at check in and I don't mind. If I needed anything extra - coffee, soap, etc, they were very nice about providing more. They have Neutrogena products. I like the pumps of soap and conditioner in the shower. Less plastic waste. The free breakfast is a nice touch. Nothing fancy - breakfast sandwiches, bagels, etc. If you don't like it, you can make breakfast in your room since there is a kitchenette. The hotel is a few minute walk to McCormick Place. There are indoor walkways. I was thankful for this because it was cold and rainy while I was there. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The only drawback I would say is that their gym area is pretty small. It is shared between 3 properties - Home2, Hampton and Hilton Garden Inn. It has the basic equipment - some weights, treadmilss, elliptical. I did get busy quickly while I was there. Not a lot of floor work to do individual exercises. It would be nice if they took out an elliptical and had some nice spin bikes. Something you could stream a class on. They had one sad bike there. There was no way to know resistence or cadence. If you don't care about the gym, this is an excellent place to stay. Even if you want a nicer gym, I would still recommend this property. It was quiet. It does take a couple minutes for the water to get warm, and you have to make sure it's on hot. I do think the price point was high for the conference. Supply and demand I guess. I did overhear some people staying at one of the higher end properties mention that this property seemed nicer.…
This hotel was accessible for a meeting near McCormick with bridge access. We didn’t have to go out in the wind or cold weather to gain access to the meeting space, and it was really nice not to carry coats or check coats in the meeting.
