I do recomend staying at Cambria. Location is good. You can walking to many attractions, restraunts and bars. The hotel is hip. The entire place was very clean. Rooms were pretty cool. Felt like you had a little apartment instead of a hotel room. Only fell short in two places. Cafe was not open for lunch. I think they are...

This hotel is a block off the Mag Mile, near Neiman Marcus. It also abuts the Northwestern Medicine campus, and is walkable to the lakefront and the loop. The lobby is a very pleasant environment, as was the room. However, the mattress and box spring must be a gazillion years old. There are creaks with any movement and the mattress...

We stayed here for the 1st time last weekend. It's only 1/2 block off the magnificent mile. Valet parking or self park in the public lot across the street. All new interior. We had a great king bed suite with a view of the city. Close to shopping, dining and sightseeing. NIce coffee barista in the lobby. Never tried the...

I booked a room on Groupon and got a great deal as what it seemed. Once I arrived at the hotel valet parking was in excess of $60. Per night into park your own car in a nearby garage was over $50 per night. Upon checking in I was told that I could upgrade to a suite for an extra...

Great location, that's for sure. However the hotel is tired... Especially the rooms. I understand they have a renovation planned so I would think things would improve after that. I think the rooms at the Red Roof down the street have a more modern amenities in the rooms. Very noisy in the rooms. Woke up a number of times after...

I use to stay in this hotel when it was Mile North and the experience was always excellent. When recently attempting to correct a booking I was shuffled around on the phone for 34 minutes. NO ONE was helpful, and I finally had to give up. This is exactly why AirBNB and VRBO are hurting the hotel business...and that's why...

Staying in Streeterville

Neighbourhood Profile
Streeterville
Streeterville is where visitors head for play at Navy Pier, a pseudo amusement park and development of restaurants, shops, rides, and other activities. You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the docks. Along the pier, you’ll see the statue of the captain for whom Streeterville is named. While you enjoy your fair share of sightseeing at the pier, you can also visit other popular attractions there such as the Chicago Children’s Museum and the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Off the pier you’ll find more restaurants from low-cost pubs to high-end establishments. Arts and culture aficionados should be sure not to miss the Museum of Contemporary Art.
