This is my second stay at the Fairmont in the past six months and it's even more clear the hotel needs to be refreshed. The room was very worn and basic. It lacks charm and atmosphere. The hotel has a good location and within a block or so from Millennium Park. There are some good restaurants in the area, but...

Stated at the Fairmont while visiting a nearby college. Perfect location for a quick Chicago tour. Closer to Millennium Park, food, Michigan shopping, and the lake. The staff was so helpful, courteous and professional, loved every minute of the hotel stay!

Nice place to stay. Walking distance to lots of shops and attractions. We had the suite, which was very large and had more space than we would ever need. Had a large living room, dining area, and bedroom. Bathroom had separate shower and tub. Great view as well.

I recently had a 2 night stay for business and the two queen beds in the room were terrible. They were so soft that you instantly sank into them. They weren't made that way, they were old. The mattress didn't match the box spring or frame. Normally you only see the top mattress on a hotel bed but the bed...

Just spent five nights at The Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park Hotel. Great position and fabulous views. However, for me, their USP is the concierges. Alex, Sheryl and Gail. They were, without doubt, the best concierges I have ever dealt with, anywhere in the world. Nothing was too much trouble. They were friendly, fun, knowledgeable and efficient. They had great advice...

You cant beat the Fairmont Chicago for location and convenience, and most rooms also offer spectacular views. Once this hotel is updated and modernized it will be a true gem, but also much more expensive. So as far as hotel value goes, this property is awesome. Upgrades to larger rooms are offered and worth the extra money. After four nights...

For my family of 5, boys ages 12, 10, & 7, we got 2 double bed suite, w/ a pull out couch for $250. The location is a block north of Millennium Park, close to Maggie Daley Park, next to Benton Place (lots of restaurants). That was the main reason for booking. The room was clean and spacious for a...

Dear Rosalie S, Thank you for posting a review on Trip Advisor. I am disappointed that your stay did not live up to your expectations. I have dispatched the Director of Housekeeping to evaluate how best to solve the issue with the sofa bed and I appreciate you bring it to our attention. I hope your travels bring you back...

This was the first "modern" Fairmont I have stayed in, so I wasn't surprised to find this hotel lacks the charm of older, historic Fairmont properties. It is a modern tower conveniently located within blocks of Millennium Park, Lake Michigan, and Michigan Avenue. Fifteen-minute walk to nearest L station. Despite its lack of charm, this property delivers consistent Fairmont quality....

The big plus, the advantage : being localized nearby the Millenium Park, the museums, the lake, Michigan avenue and Downtown. That said, nothing else, old fashioned hotel that would deserve some rejuvenating work, in and out. No clear open view on the lake, or on the park or on elsewhere. Service is average. Helpers at the breakfast place are nice...

This Hotel has the perfect location, walking distance to: Millenium Park, the gorgeous Riverwalk and Navy Pier, Michigan Av., the Art Institue, I even walked to the Willis Tower and to the Cadillac Palace Theatre to watch a play there. Of course my visit was on April when the weather was gorgeous but I always choose a Hotel based on...
