The staff at this hotel are very attentive and will go out of their way to make your experience the best. The beautiful, historic hotel has so much history and you can learn a lot by just walking around the hotel and reading the plaques on the walls. I asked to be upgraded to a suite since it was my...

I've stayed here before and always have a comfortable stay, this time is no different. I choose a room on the Club floor this time as the price was really good. The room its self was lack luster ho hum etc., due to its location it had one window off to the side making it very dark all the time....

Beautiful old hotel, but the key word is old. The lobby, restaurants, entrances are beautiful! But the rooms are looking shabby. Also, charging for internet even for Hilton Honors patrons is not the way to make me want to come back. If you're not Gold or Platinum, you have no internet. Forget elegant, I'm ready for Holiday Inn.

We stayed at the Palmer House over Valentine's Weekend, 2015. Everything was excellent about it. When we checked in, we were upgraded to a 2 bed/2 bathroom executive level room. The bathrooms were small, but with two of them, it worked fine. The room was quiet and the continental breakfast was very good. All the staff that we encountered were...

Love the Palmer House. Centrally located, wonderfully appointed and the staff is very friendly. It has exits to all the main streets and has a very nice restaurant in the building. The room was well appointed. Small but had all the necessary things. The bed slept great. Only thing I found annoying was the placement of the toilet paper dispenser....

This is a historic hotel in the loop of Chicago. The room I had was spacious, although a little awkward setup as others have mentioned as the distance between the bed and TV was expansive. The one issue is the rooms all have doors to allow for adjoining rooms, and as a result, you can hear everything coming from the...

The property was not prepared for the Valentine weekend crowd. Not enough staff in the lobby lounge to serve the packed house. The Hilton Honors executive lounge was so packed at breakfast that you could not get to the food or find seating. Plus, our room had a strong mildew smell that caused both of us to sneeze constantly. We...

Parking is ridiculous, but everywhere in Chicago is. Otherwise it's a great stay. Can't say enough about how awesome the staff was. From the front desk, to the cleaning crew. Super helpful and polite....out of their way kindness. I was impressed.

If you are going to the restaurant or bar in this hotel, you will have a wonderful time. The hey day architectural is pretty impressive. If you are staying, however, avoid any room next to the El train (of course). From out of town, I had no idea I was right on top of the tracks (is this some kind...

I've stayed here before and given high marks. This time, there for building code hearings, the first change I noticed is that the furniture was changed. The first room I was assigned was badly set-up. There was one double bed - rather than being at the foot of the tiny bed, the tv was awkwardly located to the right of...
