My husband and I stayed at the Burnham Kimpton Hotel the weekend of November 16th. I was there on business but arrived early to take in what Chicago had to offer. As we had arrived early we had lunch at the Atwood Cafe in the hotel and met the most amazing waiter Nick. Now mind you, all of the staff...

Right in the middle of everything. Used this hotel after we had got off the Amtrak train. Short walk from Union station. Might want to get a taxi if you have lots of luggage. Rooms were really nice. Good size and felt quite new. Staff were really friendly. We had breakfast in the lobby, which was not extensive, but just...

If your Chicago get away includes the theater, and with so many pre-and post- Broadway productions making their way through town why wouldn't it, the Hotel Burnham is a must! One block south of the Oriental, three blocks east of the Cadillac and two blocks north of the Bank of America Theater, with very good restaurants along the way to...

This is our third year in hopefully a long list of years to come staying at Hotel Burnham the night before Thanksgiving to celebrate my birthday. The staff was wonderful, from some pre stay questions until checkout. The room was perfect, everything top notch and up to their usual standards. The breakfast on the second floor on Thanksgiving morning was...

I chose this place for a daddy-daughter weekend largely because of its location -- just opposite Marshall Fields on State and Washington. The highlight for me was the historic building that has been beautifully restored. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The rooms were well appointed and spotless. They also were very welcoming to my eight-year-old daughter. We...

I first became aware of this hotel a few years ago when I visited the lobby during Art Loop Chicago to view the artwork on display. I had previously read The Devil in the White City so it was neat to see the actual place that figured into the book. I remember how run down this building was before it...

This boutique hotel is a nice alternative to the large chains. Perfect location for shopping and siteseeing. Service is very good. The rooms are nicely renovated in a style that fits the old building. I had a beautiful corner room with large windows that even gave me a partial view of the lake. Bring you earplugs, though.
