Where to start. We were comfortable, it was clean, it was close to everything we wanted, including the red and blue L lines to get around Chicago. The bar/restaurant was lovely. We like places that are unique and prefer older, character and history filled places to sterile new chains. This was right up our alley. We'll will certainly be back.

Dear Lynn F, Thank you so much for sharing your feedback on Tripadvisor. From the tone of your review, you will be back and that's what we like to hear. Daniel H. The rooms at the Palomar are small. However, the hotel is in a fantastic location and the staff could not be more accommodating. The check-in was quick, warm and welcoming. I loved that there are actually room keys not key cards. The size of this boutique hotel and the charm of the old world feel with modern touches were memorable....

The Burnham is a terrific and memorable (in all the right ways) hotel. Kimpton Hotels generally have a lot of character. They are individuals not groupies, even idiosyncratic. The Burnham is a great example. It occupies a totally renovated historic office building in the heart of Chicago's Loop - a great location for museums, music, walking, shopping, and eating. The...

Wanted to do something different/special this trip into Chicago, and the Hotel Burnham was just that. Upgraded to an outstanding suite on the top floor, one of the nicest rooms we have ever had. Staff was attentive, providing a humidifier, and champagne to acknowledge our event. A bit pricey, but well worth it for a special occasion.
