We have just returned from a wonderful five night break at this beautiful hotel. We stayed in the Partridge room, quietly situated on the top floor, and surely the quietest hotel room we have ever stayed in. Very friendly and professional staff who went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Loved the quiet valley location, the smell...

We were lucky enough to have an overnight stay here recently. Set in its own grounds that are well manicured we were given a warm welcome from the reception team who were efficient and helped us with luggage to our room. Room was excellent with some nice extra touches which I won't describe so as not to ruin the surprises...

Stayed on Saturday night last week-end and from the times we arrived it was faultless . We arrived early but were greeted warmly with staff bringing in our cases from the car to the room while we enjoyed drinks in the lounge next to a log fire . The room was cosy not the biggest but very comfortable . We...

Where to start? Faultless service - nothing was too much trouble. Amazing food - all the tasters plus the a la carte and the accompanying wine flights and not forgetting the breakfasts - perfect way to start the day. Peaceful stunning location - even when a bit wet - lots to do and see and explore. Thoroughly recommend this hotel

We decided on The Grove as the perfect place for a weekend away, just the 2 of us. Oh boy - what a brilliant pick! We were greeted so warmly on arrival and shown to our room in the main house which was spacious, beautifully appointed and with luxury products in the bathroom. We had cocktails in the bar, ate...

We stayed at the Grove in October 2016 and vowed to stay again before too long. We returned in mid-February and were a little concerned that we would be disappointed because our first stay was so good.. The welcome was just the same but, if anything, the food and accommodation was even better. Not sure how the team achieved that...

Just returned from a fasting weekend in Wales. Whilst the weather was not great this hotel certainly is. Excellent restaurant for dinner and outstanding breakfasts. We also had our dog with us and our room was very well suited to accommodating our dog.

Just returned from one night stay at this luxurious hotel. The room was gorgeous with everything you could need. The toiletries were beautiful, big fluffy towels and a free standing bath with lavender bath salts were the icing on the cake. Breakfast was delicious and the big comfy sofa's in front of open fires are completely relaxing. We didn't eat...
