Great hotel located adjacent to the Midway airport. Perfect for a quick trip with Midway as the base. Rooms are nice and there is a 24 hour shuttle service to and from the airport. Front desk staff is very courteous and helpful. Quite a few restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel
This property has 24hr shuttle service to/from Midway airport very nice! Also the breakfast was perfect savings additional $$ on my Chicago trip. Very convenient location service and staff was very nice and everyone was welcoming! I was very happy!
Key card not working , I came down several times , and the ladies just keep telling me everything looks fine. It was until I told the girls that my wife had her medicine and need to take right away that they call the maintenance guy.
Flight canceled. Hotel was great in getting us a room and a shuttle back to the airport. Breakfast was fabulous, possibly because it was my first meal in 14 hours:) but it truly was good. My only complaint is the pillows are like rocks. I woke up with the worst headache from them
I checked in at 8:00 PM and had to leave at 5:00 AM for a flight, so all I wanted was a good night's sleep. The rooms have connecting doors adjoining doors that let in ALL noise from the adjoining room. The people next door were just talking at a normal level, but they might as well have been in my room. I could hear every word, the splash of water from the shower, the tab of a beverage can being opened, the rustle of a bag. I don't even have particularly good hearing. They finally went to bed at 5:00 AM, just as I was leaving, so I didn't sleep at all. I staggered downstairs to check out and had to wait ten minutes for the computers to come back on, which was understandable. I asked the front desk manager to call the airport shuttle while we waited for the computers, and she very pointedly rolled her eyes. I was too exhausted to ask what was so unreasonable about my request, but it didn't matter. The combination of bad room design and unprofessionalism ensure I'll never return.…
Whatever street room 210 was adjacent to was a motorcycle race zone punctuated with fireworks when I was there. Room was clean but there are plenty other hotels around there that may be way quieter. Or not...
Okay, to start I have stayed at this Midway site a number of times, at the Double Tree in October, Hyatt Place in November etc. and always came back for numerous reasons. However, my stay December 24th thru 26th at the Hampton Inn Midway was very bad for so many reasons. I check in and was confronted with a demand for a $50/day deposit and $26/day parking fees. These fees were never explained to me and were omitted from the descriptions of the hotel when booking. Additionally, no other property on this site in my last time(s) of staying here charged $50 & $26/day fees. I explained my concern the staff when checking in, but check-in. The room was adequate nothing major – clean and the was most important to me. So, we stay the 2 night and checked-out feeling robbed, I remember telling a young lady behind the counter, we were checking out, and she asked our room number, I responded 3-what-ever and left the property. I then drive hours back to my home state and wake up the next day to see charges instead of refunds on my bank log. So, I call Hampton Inn directly (708) 496-1900, promptly at 7:00am to get an explanation. I got a young lady named Keisha (the only Keisha “there”, as she explained why she couldn’t or shouldn’t give me her last name) who was not very happy to hear from me – about 10 minutes before writing this letter from my home in a neighboring state, Keisha tells me she still has me checked in and cant discuss it until the manager Yvonne Fisher gets in, so I’m being robbed by this company a second time in two days, with no resolution yet. – STAY TUNED - BUT PLEASE DON’T STAY HERE – there are much nicer places with-in walking distance on this same site.…
Hotel is rather basic with small rooms. Bed was lumpy. We could hear the person in the next room snoring. Our toilet was running. We called the front desk about the toilet and the front desk guy (who was the only person on the desk) came up to try to fix it. I get that everyone is short staffed. He said that he would move us to another room if he couldn't fix it, which I appreciated. (Yes, he fixed it.)
Stayed here over this past weekend .I enjoyed my stay here . Great location to and from airport . Lots of restaurants in this strip Veryyyy clean hotel will definitely be back. Also great holiday decoration .
