Very disappointed in the quality of the condo we were assigned considering the rate charged per night! The living space was cramped and the kitchen and bathroom were tiny. Beware when booking. We actually ended up moving to two rooms at the lodge.

Very good place for family to stay if you are for hiking or even for a ski trip. The facility is well managed and pretty clean. Price is a bit high but is worth while. There is a town center with 10 minutes drive and you can get all kind of supply, very convenient.

Our condo was perfect for my husband and I, and our two adult sons! The kitchen was well furnished, we appreciated the washer/dryer, and the Lodge staff made everything work very well for us. It was a short easy walk to the bus stop, so we didn't need a car.

We rented a condo in Cottonwoods. While the place was well equipped and comfortable, there was a lot of noise from upstairs. We were on the ground floor. After two nights of the noise we were pleased to leave. However the resort is amazing. Fantastic facilities and we would probably stay in the Inn next time. Nearer the center of the action.

The condos we stayed in must have been owner-rented. Our condo had a full kitchen with plates, silverware, towels etc. The furnishings were great... It was homely and cute! This place had great amenities... A game console, wireless internet, a washer-dryer, and a loft! Our condo had two bedrooms, but with the loft could've easily slept 5-6 people! I would recommend this to families for sure!

We rented a studio condo at Sun Valley. Upon check in, the first condo we were assigned in the Atelier Complex was dark and dreary. We returned to the reception desk and requested a new condo. The receptionist was wonderful and placed us in a different complex, Cottonwood condominiums, in a second floor condo with a view, without any additional charge. It was so much better! We had gone to Sun Valley to cross country ski, but due to poor snow conditions, were unable to XC ski at Sun Valley. Although the Sun Valley Nordic Center staff directed us 30 miles up the road to Galena Nordic Center which did have snow and was a wonderful place to xc ski! The condo was clean and well equipped. It was a quiet and pleasant place to stay. It was an easy, short walk to the outdoor pool, shops and restaurants in the village. The outdoor pool was awesome! Felt more like a hot tub than a pool. The staff at the pool was friendly and helpful. The receptionists at the Inn, where you check in for the condos, were great. We visited the desk several times with questions and requests and they were always helpful.

Room Tip: 2nd floor. THe Cottonwood Condominiums were preferable for us rather than the Atelier Condominiums.

We stay in the condo's on Dollar Road that are part of the Sun Valley resort. First thing to know is the Lodge is under major remodel and will be closed for at least another year. No pool at lodge but they do have a pool at the Sun Valley Inn. The condo we stayed at was in major need of a remodel also. I think these are owner/rented by Sun Valley condos. I would not stay at this one again. Too many other good options in Sun Valley for the same or lesser price.

We enjoyed a five night stay in condos across the street from the indoor ice rink. This was convenient to activities at the Lodge or the Inn; yet the condos are in a natural-treed setting. We were on the 3rd floor & there was no elevator; so this required trekking up narrow stairs, a challenge when loaded w/suitcases, etc. There was a fully kitchen, including full set of knives, paper towels, coffee maker, blender and toaster, electric cooktop/stove, micro-wave, full-sized refrigerator. Our one bedroom unit had a very large living/dining room, w/full sofa, a couple of stuffed chairs, fireplace and big sofa. A small deck opened off the living room w/a view over a creek & reservoir. Bed was adequate but not great. Electric base board heating & fully operable windows. Bathroom had a very small sink area, paint-worn mirror & cabinet. Shower/tub & toilet in seperate small room were sufficient, if not ample or unique. Plenty of closet & drawer storage space. While in decent condition, furnishings were very dated --- ~35 - 40 years. FYI: Staying in the condos is the same as staying at the Lodge or Inn. You can charge meals & drinks to your room & you have complimentary access to the fitness room & wonderful hot pool at the Lodge.

While the condo we stayed in had to have been 25 years old, it was very nice inside. The kitchen had been recently remodeled, and the decor was well done. We loved being able to hit the mountain biking trails that were so close to the unit -- we could have parked our car on day 1 and rode our bikes everywhere. Highlights of the area - Day trip to the Sawtooth Mountains (60 miles away, but worth the effort) - All the bike trails around town - Bowling in the lodge - Ice skating in the summer

Just returned from spring skiing in Sun Valley. We stayed at the Condos next to the Sun Valley Lodge. Big beautiful room we had a full kitchen, nice living room area with two sofas(one was a sleeper) two nice chairs, oversized queen bed, walk in closet and marble bathroom. We were in the Sawtooth Condos right next to the Lodge pool that never got under 100 degrees. World class skiing, food and accomodations who could ask for more? Well how about on sale for the spring. If you have never been to Sun Valley you should go. The beauty of this valley from the top of the River Run ski chair is unparrelled!
