Whatever else you do, make sure you reserve a slot in their hot tub. It's 400 yards from the hotel and looks out through the open doors to the Sawtooth mountains over a gas flowing creek. Amazing. Rooms are fine and its convenient to the bar/restaurant, grocery store and petrol station (expensive). Pleasant staff and unmatched setting.

We stumbled upon Mountain Village Resort after driving over the Sawtooth NF. We stayed in the RV sites so cannot comment on the hotels rooms. However as a camper, we had access to showers and private hot spring tub with a seriously good view. The resort has a restaurant and bar. The bar had a great atmosphere with live country...

You can tell they are making efforts to improve there property. Ill be back to stay here this summer. If you can get a room that faces the river and visit the hot springs as they are so nice. Reasonable price for this time of the year.

Stay was good, hot tub is a bonus, very easy check in and check out. The only thing that keeps this hotel from getting another star is that the beds are not very comfortable. You can't expect a 5 star in a little town like Stanley.

I definitely would not have chosen this hotel to stay, not sure you can call it a resort. Looks like it was last updated in the eighties. Not much choice in this area. It was clean but just very dated.

My husband surprised me with a visit to Stanley for my birthday. We had a reservation with this hotel so we could use the Hot Spring. Upon check in we found out the Hot Spring was completely booked that evening. The room was so out dated, no clock, the TV was a Dell, which was the size of a computer screen, the...

From the outside it seems rather nice, but it is really antiquated on the inside. Below-average comfort beds, old fashioned tv's, outdated decor and ZERO wi-fi. What was nice was the proximity to store, gas and restaurant and if course the loveliness of the Sawtooth Mountains. We arrived late, so we didn't have an opportunity to check out their hot...

We wanted to stay at another hotel, but a note on the office door said that the owners would not return till 10 pm and we wanted to sleep early since we had been driving all day. The hotel had mixed reviews, but we decided to try it, and were not disappointed. Quiet, roomy, wifi, typical 2-queen bed room with...
