Second year returning to the Redwood Cabins for our annual Idaho adventure. Greg is amazing and always accommodating. Great location with exceptionally clean room and amazing views. Perfect back patio with a community grill and greenbelt over looking the Salmon river equipped with lawn furniture. Look forward to our next trip!

These are actually cinderblock rooms and there's no redwood. The simplicity and cleanliness make for a cozy spot. But above all, the best part of this spot is the lawn in back along the river with comfortable lawn furniture looking up-river (the Salmon) to the jagged Sawtooth range. The August sun was fierce, but the cool breeze and a walk... More

We booked a one night at the last minute. Wow, were we lucky! Great spot to sit and view the Sawtooth Mountains. Chairs and lounges on the nice grass area. With the Salmon river at my feet. Cattle across the river lowing to each other. Two comfortable double beds with small refrigerator. Good parking. Great dinner at the Sawtooth Hotel... More

Cinderblock cabins, no frills but comfortable. Older, but our cabin had a new shower enclosure & the cabin was clean. Travelers should know there is no TV, no AC, (which probably is never needed here), & no hairdryer. There is a coffee maker. Not all cabins have kitchens. Ours had a small fridge and no microwave. Ask for a cabin... More

My dad, kids and I had a fabulous vacation in Idaho last week. The river  and mtn view backdrop, lawn and variety of chairs and tables, hammock,  and swing made for a special experience.  Including watching the meteor showers at night I appreciate that you are able to offer affordable accommodations for a variety of guests.  The kids pointed out,... Yes it looks very inviting -- and the reviews --not sure who wrote them but obviously no one that stayed there. The staff where 2 young kids that are pretty much unavailable. The sheets were clean but the bed the floor and the bathroom are dirty very very old and in need of repair. It's waterfront in the back for... More

My wife & I stayed in a cabin with a kitchenette. The cabin was clean, had everything in the kitchen we needed, & the bed was comfortable. The river & mountain views were amazing, especially at sunset. There are restaurants, grocery stores, & rafting companies within walking distance.

The cabins are good basic lodging. Nice base to explore from. Only 14 cabins so not too crowded. basic room amenities. We are enjoying the scenery and the river as we relax and decompress from busy everyday life. Bedding is comfortable and warming on cold nights. Requested repairs were completed promptly by friendly staff.

Situated at the edge of the Salmon River, the Redwood Cabins present you with all you really need to enjoy the quiet serenity of Staley, ID. Not fancy but clean..not five star but starlight. Much like a fishing cabin or camp experience. We have stayed 3 or 4 times now and always left calmer and rested. Eagles, cows and horses,... More

My wife and I recently stayed two nights at redwood cabins. Great location right on the river. Clean and tidy basic lodging. Owner/management are friendly and accomodating. Located in Lower Stanley, just south of Stanley and Redfish Lake.
