We have been going to Redfish for over 15 years; it is a magical, majestic and the perfect place to get away, until now. Traffic is overwhelming, the beach is packed, the lake is bumper boats! You get away from it all along side everyone else! What was once a secluded location, tucked back into the beautiful Sawtooth mountains is... More

Stayed in the lodge late sept. Redfish lake is very popular in the summer, but heavenly when the weather, season changes, we esp love the fall. Quiet, lake was like a mirror, temp was 80, so we went in. Dinner was amazing at the restaurant . Day was too good, so we spent another night. Indescribably beautiful. All of us... More

We spent a beautiful fall weekend in a cozy little cabin by the lake. The restaurant at the lodge was very good, the scenery was fantastic, and the personnel were all very friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend this resort for spring, summer and fall fun. They are closed in the winter.

My husband and I were taking a "no expectation" trip up to the Sawtooth Wilderness area of Idaho. We started in Stanley, Idaho our first night but after checking into a motel-ish spot, we took a drive to Redfish Lake. We immediately took to the lake, the available boats, the scenery and the Lodge. it was all very camp-like and,... More

I absolutely love this area and this is the first time in a long while that I rented a cabin at the lake. It was great. The staff was very friendly and it was an unforgettable experience for me and my friends.

.We were having a very pleasant visit until mid-week during our stay a large group came in. They seemed to prefer hanging out on the deck of our small two-sides cabin. When I asked at the desk if there was an alternative room we might have, I had trouble with the name of our cabin. I was visibly shaken and... More

This is a great place to get away, relax and enjoy the outdoors. Even though we were there on a cloudy, wet day, we managed a couple of hikes. Our cabin (one of the lake suites) was very comfortable and our dinner in the lodge was excellent. We enjoyed being away from our cell phones (no reception) and Internet (not... More

This is such a beautiful, serene and majestic place to stay. Get away from your phones and TV. We arrived two hours before check in and we were very lucky that our room was ready. We rented a lake suite #19 ( rates after Labor Day are about $75 cheaper). It's location is tucked away in a meadow with two... More

The Lodge served as base camp for our backpacking trip into the heart of the Sawtooths. Shuttle across the lake allows numerous loop hike options. Food/drink and atmosphere are superb for hikers and chair rockers alike

The restaurant was closed for lunch -- it is served outside at the gazebo. The options are limited to sandwiches and fries. Hot dog and brat were ok, buns were not heated. Service was friendly enough, but obviously bored and uninspired.
