This is a small, peaceful and scenic location right next to the river. You are parked on grass, with partial shade and full views of surrounding mountains. You are about 100 yards from the river bank and the area is grass covered up to the vegetation along the river bank, which is the home to several deer and some fawns....

Beautiful sites, owner is so sweet, right on the river overlooking, full hookup, and WiFi good since no Verizon. Deer feeding at night. Great rates. Deer grazing at night. Small call ahead. River is within walking distance.

We spent a week and had a nice, peaceful time with full hookups and very good wifi at our spot. One couple said theirs wasnt as good further from the office. There's a nice walk by the Salmon River and we even saw an osprey nest with chicks, rabbits and deer. We'd definitely come back!

We loved staying at Heald's Haven Campground near Salmon. Beautiful, peaceful spot with the cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen!! We will be back. The owner was really kind and helpful. The campground is just feet from the Salmon River and easily accessible to fishing.

We loved this sweet, little campground! It is small and very clean. Full hookups are available. Beautiful, peaceful scenery and lots of wildlife are also available! We only stayed one night as we were passing through. We loved Connie, too!

A small campground only 12 sites with full hook up but well worth the stop. It is located on the Salmon River. There is also dry camping available. Connie, the owner, is a real gem!! The site is grassed and well maintained. Quiet, beautiful and lots of space in each site. Mature trees are a real plus! We stayed for...

As I sit looking at the deer just outside my door, I need to write this review. If you are looking for nightlife this IS NOT the place for you. We originally signed up for 2 nights, but quickly added another. The scenery is just beautiful. The owner Connie is one of the nicest people you can meet. I didn't...

This is a smaller Mom and Pop operation, although the man passed away a few years ago and the lady is still running it with the help of her sons. Nicest lady you would ever want to meet. Scenic views, not crowded, shady sites with nice grass and extremely under priced. So much so I insisted on giving her some...
