We've stayed here before, and we know it's a bare bones place - no refrigerator, microwave, etc. But this time they didn't even have a working ice machine. So no ice. For a few dollars more I'll stay somewhere else from now on.

The owners are very nice people, but the place is a drug infested dump. The room was filthy, the tenants were noisy. There were parole officers looking for people twice in less than a week, vagrants hanging out in the parking lot selling drug's. So if you're not into this kind of thing, spend a few dollars more to stay...

You get what you pay for and the Thunderbird Motel wasn't really as bad as you'd expect for $56.50, that's all up including any taxes. This was just about the cheapest on my stay. Pocatello is a Railway town with a University, and something to do with dried potatoes, there is no other reason for it to exist. The motel...

Arrived late at night and the place looked inviting. We had taken a chance on this place considering all other hotels were booked. Went into office and was greeted by a pleasant person who gave me a key to a room. Key didn't work. Went back into office. Another person helped but said that there was an elderly couple living...

I couldn't even stay. We walked in our room and I couldn't even do it. The lady working at the front desk was nice but the hotel was in a scary neighborhood, people standing in the parking lot smoking. We went to dinner and the thought of having to come back and stay made me want to cry. So we...

The first room they put us in was DISGUSTING. We always stay in cheap motels, it's not like we had high expectations but the room reeked of harsh cleaning chemicals. We left the window open and left for awhile and came back and it hadn't changed. The carpet was disgusting and the towels were stained. We just couldn't do it...

We were on a long road trip and got to and stayed in Pocatello late at night. That was good, because the place was in disrepair. It looked like the door had been kicked in and only partly repaired. The beds had mattresses that were well past their prime, and the amenities were consistent with a 1 start motel. My...

Besides the room smelling strongly of cigarette smoke, it was dirty too! At 1:00am I was awakened by 6 or 8 police pounding on the door next to mine trying to arrest one of five people inside. Finally the SWAT team arrived and convinced him and the others to surrender. It turns out he was a felon wanted in a...

We had a pleasant night stay here in Pocatello. The room was warm and cozy. Beds were comfortable. Dogs are allowed. The checkin process was easy and efficient and the front desk lady was really friendly. Parking was easy as well. We will stay here again.
