We stayed at Burgdorf Hot Springs as part of our adventure on the Idaho Hot Springs Mountain Bike Route from the Adventure Cycling Association. The hot-springs pool was just the perfect temperature for our tired muscles. I generally prefer wild hot springs to commercial establishments, but this one was done in a way that was harmonious with the surrounding wild...

After living in Alaska for 25 years and staying in Road houses, remote lodges and off the beaten path lodging, Burgdorf Hot Springs is is a very fun comfortable place to stay and soak away aches and sore muscles. Leave your laptops, tvs, and cell phones at home there is no service for any of them.(the office has a land line for emergencies)...

I usually look at the hot springs in the area as the main attraction, but at Burgdorf I'd have to say the wonderfully rustic cabins were what we liked best. The log structure, the hand-made creative stairs leading to the loft, the deck looking out onto the forest lands and mountains all made this a super relaxing place to stay....

I am so excited to report that Burgdorf Springs Resort is under new (to me) management : ))) The last time I visited I vowed not to return after some really strange and bizarre behavior on the part of the then-management team. I have since changed my tune! The resort is now conscientiously maintained by a lovely couple whose attention...

We had a great day soaking in the hot spring. Surrounded by historic buildings and forest it is a great day. USFS was shuttling supplies to their various remote stations from nearby. It was fun watching the helicopter with its load heading out. We did not stay at the cabins, but will in the future. The host was helpful and...

I absolutely LOVE this place! Rustic, Remote, Off the Grid, Total Relaxation. Yes electricity forget it, Cell service forget it. Once that battery dies you are completely un-plugged and you can submerge in pure relaxation. I highly recommend staying in a cabin. It is like camping though, but with wood walls and a wood stove. This place is magical.

We love the remote location of Burgdorf Hot Springs. The quiet stillness was beautiful. The place looks very rustic and western. The pool has a lovely gravel floor. We noticed when we arrived that the guest before us had arrived and left before us... they had stayed LESS than an hour. Why would they leave in less than an hour?...

McCall Idaho is a gorgeous travel destination but can be very expensive and now commercial. I have stayed at Burgdorff hot springs many times now and it is the best value and warmest hospitality in town. It is a 40 mom drive to town but I also just stay in Burgdorff it has rustic cabins which are very clean. They...

I visited Burgdorf Hot Spring in the Payette National Forest of Idaho recently. I like hot springs. For me, they are my favorite places to heal body and mind. I did not know about Burgdorf until my friend and I started planning the trip, and a friend told us about it. The reality resulted superior to our expectations. The place,...

It is just like stepping back in time. The buildings are just like in the old westand the mountains around the springs are beautiful. The hot springs are nice and the people are very nice. They really only sell soda and candy. The staff tell you a lot about the history which makes it a fun trip.

“Lodging consists of cabins of different sizes that accommodate two to eight persons. Bedding is not provided. You should bring your swim suits as they are required,If you need to, suits and towels are available to rent. I would advise anyone wanting an overnight stay to make reservations by phone, their web site is not real friendly.”
