Lava Hot Springs is small and this inn is a few feet off the main drag and walking distance to the hot pools. The owners have put in many lovely personal touches and some neat wooden furniture. The room is big with a small fridge, microwave, a table, coffee/tea making and signs invite you to call for anything you need.... More

We loved this place. This is the best place I have stayed in Lava Hot Springs, ID in the past 10 years! Great location! Easy to walk to everything in town. This place is decorated so nice. The landscaping is awesome. All the rooms are personalized with pictures of the Alpaca's. Everything is clean and new. Lots of places to... More

Nice little cute inn. Staff is awesome and accommodating. Was very kind and gave suggestions to eat and play. Within walking distance to shops, hot pots, and bars. I have also stayed in their apartment that has many rooms for several people or to fit a family. Highly recommended!

The Alpaca Inn was everything we needed. The room was very clean, the bed was so nice I thought I was sleeping on a cloud. It was so easy to relax and kickback. The view of the mountain from our porch was a bonus. We enjoyed the close proximity to the hot pools, dining, shopping and the river walk. We... More

Loved my stay at this little inn! The room was neat as a pin and looked very new. It had a kitchenette, spacious bathroom and a little porch with a great view of the mountains and the lovely garden. Restaurants and the Hot Pools are an easy walk along the river. Amazingly plush and comfy bed! So quiet I slept... More

We spent one night here. Our room was comfortable and clean. We really liked having windows on both sides of the room so we could get fresh air. The person who checked us in was cheerful and very helpful. Bed was comfortable. Room had a sitting chair and small table with two chairs. The room has a heater/air conditioner but... More

We are seniors, leisurely roadtripping through the Pacific Northwest and we stayed in Lava Hot Springs for two nights. We haves overnighted in Lava about once a year for the past 30 years and we have stayed in most of the lodging options. This was our first time here. This is a 13 unit, nicely restored motor lodge. It is... More

It was a pleasant surprise to find such a lovely place in the midst of an arid landscape. Green grass and flowers were in abundance in late August. The staff was very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable about restaurants in the area. The room was quite large, clean, and no smell of cleaning products (we hate the smell of cleaning products).... Clean, comfortable and quiet with great garden in the middle. Rooms are rustic, but clean & comfortable - this is a lovingly run Mom & Pop kinda place with nice touches throughout. Always on the lookout for this kind of hotel, as I hate the cookie-cutter chain places. We stayed (this time) in room 3 which had 2 double beds,... More

First time visiting Lava Hot Springs. We used Trip advisor reviews to determine where to stay. Alpaca Inn was exactly what we read about - Fabulous. We arrived a few hours before checkin. Londa was very accommodating and let us checkin early as room was available. Room 3 was perfect for us with 2 adults and 4 teenagers. It was... More
