Love this little hotel!!! Beautiful and authentic vintage feel right next to the river and right in town. The fact that you really don’t need to leave the hotel either is nice, it has the soaking tubs, breakfast and a beautiful (and delicious) dinner restaurant right on the property! The staff was very helpful and down to earth. Thank you! Definitely staying with you folks every lava hot springs visit!

Out of the way little town why lovely community hot springs. This was an awesome side trip. Hotel was old and quirky, with it own soaking tubs. Won’t be for everyone though this is our kind of place. Rustic, historic, small town, quaint, off the beaten path, Americana.

The bed is heavenly and your butt sinks right into it you don't wanna get off. The pillows are great and don't hurt your neck. Small room but has all you need. They have their own pools downstairs as well no one can use but guests

This place is a sketchy dump - stay away. Old, dirty, broken mattress, falling apart, weeds. You feel like you’re in a flop house. Guy behind the desk doesn’t even stand up to check you in. Their restaurant downstairs is scary and WAY overpriced

Charming little place with great new restroom in room renovations. The beds were nice but could have been cleaned under them as there is a need for better housekeeping. The desk staff was great. The back porch is wonderful. The breakfast could have had fresher pastry. The soak was warm and relaxing and our meal on premises was delightful. A bit more renovation and this would be a top notch destination if a little more care and money was poured into this treasure.

If you are looking for the best place in Lava Hot Springs for much needed rest and relaxation Riverside Inn is the only place to be. From the charming rooms to the personal soaking rooms and the exquisite outside dining with beautiful views. The food was delicious. All the staff members were happy and friendly. Eager to make my experience the very best. Next time, I’ll be making reservations for a massage but my time was limited. I am definitely leaving feeling pampered and refreshed.

Classic Hotel, modern yet the feel of another era, a great stop-over on returning to Salt Lake City after the Grand Tetons/Yellowstone! The in hotel hot springs are a special treat and the morning breakfast was perfect.

If you love historic hotels, and don't mind small rooms and creaky floors, this is a fun find. The private soaking rooms were clean, modern, and very enjoyable. The staff was friendly. The complimentary breakfast was homemade - pig in a puff, fresh muffin, or quiche. Cute little town. I will stay here again.

Checked in to Riverside in April on a Monday. Wasn’t greeted. Had booked a Riverview room, didn’t get one. The room was very small, and old. Baseboards dusty. The window was unable to close, so cold wind all night. There was a buzzing noise all night long. The room smelled like a laundry room the entire time. Breakfast is not really a breakfast. Unless you like a pig in a puff. Not a buffet like most hotels. Checked out and wasn’t even asked how my stay was. Overall, a very bad experience. This place need a big makeover. I don’t like writing poor reviews. But I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels, and for the price I paid, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
