This is our 4th trip out here from Pennsylvania. We come to stay and snowmobile. Right across the street there is a great place to rent your sleds. Trout hunter is a clean and comfortable place to stay. The snowmobile trails run right here from the lodge. We also enjoy the great food!!!! We ate breakfast and dinner here every...

My husband and I went to Island Park to float the Henry's Ford and chose Trouthunter as our outfitter. We floated with Zac and it was an excellent day. Zac showed us the falls, the big fish that ate "trout chow" and he lined us up on fish. We caught fish all day - large and small but we were...

I traveled back to Last Chance for epic trout fishing and to visit friends. We also put some ashes of our departed fishing buddies on the river - at good fishing spots of course. Trouthunter has maintained the quality they had when they first opened, they still have the best guides and gear, the best restaurant, and the most comfortable...

I have fished a lot of places, but the combination of fishing, food and service at Trouthunter is pretty hard to top. There's an abundance of famous water within an hour or so drive, including the Henry's Fork, Madison, Yellowstone, Gallatin, Soda Butte and many others. The guides we had were friendly, knowledgable, and very accommodating. The Last Chance Bar...

Clean room, excellent food, amazing fishing and our guide Ryan was awesome. Everyone was extremely friendly. Trout hunter Lodge and restaurant are right next to the river with amazing views. I highly recommend the mountain man breakfast!

We stayed at the lodge on our way to Montana and again a week later on our way home. The rooms are clean and well maintained, the views are gorgeous, the guides are great, and the restaurant is a very pleasant surprise! Ben Smith was our guide for two different guided trips and he got us 'in the fish' both...

One of our favorite fishing destinations! Stay at the lodge and you are there bright and early for your guided fishing trip! The guides are great and you have a variety of trips to choose from! Expert fly fisherman? Try you hand at the Harriman Ranch, but don't say I didn't warn you, the fish are very smart there! Just...

We ate at the restaurant (didn't stay at the hotel) 2 of us had the 'buffalo burger' which is really good. Homemade mozerella sticks and marinara sauce for appetiser was really good (and i'm picky about my mozerella sticks!). We went for lunch and the service is quick. You can eat inside or out and it's right by the river...

Very nice accomodation. Rooms are nicely laid out and are very large. Great view of Henry's Fork just out back of rooms. Housekeeping does good job. Prices are reasoable. Fly shop in same building as is a very good restaurant. Highly recommend staying here and using Trouthunters river guides for all you fly fishing adventures.

“All the rooms face the water and the countryside-but I'd go for the second floor, you have a nice outside area to hang out and watch the songbirds and warblers cruise around after the day of fishing.”
  • Say hello to my leetle friend
  • View right outside the room-coupled with a cigar, absolutely subliminal.
