My second trip to Venice and my first on the Lido- Hotel Sorriso was a great place to base ourselves for a city break. We got the 72 hour bus pass but rarely used the bus as the waterbus stop/restaurants etc are a 20 minute, very pleasant, walk away. The hotel has few amenities- however the breakfast was decent, the...

The staff went out of their way to accommodate us, and made the entire trip better. The room was great, air conditioning worked, and had a great peaceful patio to sit and...

The hotel is very basic with few bedroom furnishings. The shower was good. Breakfast was again very basic. The main issue we found was although advertised...

The bus is just outside and comes all the time day or night. The breakfast is plentiful and It doesn't matter what time you go down( i think it finishes at...

The staff were incredibly helpful and had faultless local knowledge and excellent English. Our room was a good size, and the bathroom was modern and lovely. Breakfast was excellent, with a very good selection on offer. The hotel is really well located. It's a 2 minute walk from the beach, bars and the bus stop. Would recommend travellers to get...
