We stayed there a week while visiting Venice. Owner Alessandro and his family were great hosts! Breakfasts were excellent. Rooms were very nice and had AC which helped in the hot weather. If we ever go back to Venice we will DEFINITELY stay there!!

This was our third visit to Venice and we decided to stay on the Lido de Venezia. Having checked trip advisor we chose Villa Casanova and we were certainly not disappointed. If you don't mind taking the vaparetto each day (giving you a mini cruise along the grand canal) then this could be the hotel for you. The vaparetto stop...

What a great place to stay in Venice! Alessandro and his team were excellent hosts all week and could not do enough to help. Breakfasts were excellent with a selection of meat, cheese, bread, fruits and cereals. There were no in-room coffee facilities but a professional filter coffee machine was in the shared kitchen downstairs. The rooms themselves were excellent....

We stayed 5 days in lovely Venice. From our hotel Casanova on the Lido we came by the Vaporeto within 15 minutes to Saint Marcus Piazza. The service in the hotel was excellent. I never have had a better breakfast in Italy than in Casanova hotel.

Had a great stay here. Set in a quiet street 5 mins walk from the water bus stop and about 20 mins from the beach. Large comfortable room with a small fridge. Although there's no kettle in room you are able to make yourself tea during the day in their kitchenette, also pastries and biscotti left out - nice little...

I flew from Cyprus via Vienna and had a very enjoyable 5 day stay at the Villa Casanova. I stayed in one of the Second Floor attic rooms. It was warm and very pleasant. The Villa is very conveniently placed. 10 minutes on the Vaparetto and you are in Piazza San Marco. Allesandro and his wife are very friendly and...

Just returned from 4 nights here. Villa Casanova is a lovely hotel in a great location in a quiet street about 10 mins walk from the vaporetto stop to Venice, the Islands and the airport. My 2 friends and I stayed in the triple room in the attic which was clean tidy and very comfortable. Alessandro and all his staff...

Villa Casanova is a lovely little hotel in Lido, just 20 minutes from Venice by ferry. It is a great idea to stay in Lido and enjoy the beach while having an opportunity to go to remarkable Venice when you want to. The hotel is situated conveniently both near the pier and close to the beach. The location is such...

We stayed 2 nights here. The host Alessandro is extremely helpful to offer all the commute info, nearby grocery, beach and highlight some authentic areas to visit. The place is convenient just 10 mins away from Lido pier. It is a great area to get away from busy tourist main island. Bicycles can be borrowed for free to tour around...

Just returned from 3nts here. We found the location perfect for visiting venice. Very easy to find the villa and a very short walk to the water bus stops. Room was on the top floor with skylight windows. Very quiet and although not huge perfectly adequate. Alessandro also offers use of the kitchen so you can make a cup of...
