I stayed here for 3 nights for a conference visit. The hotel is fantastic with delightfully different rooms. We were a large group and all had differently styled rooms, all of which were comfortable and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful, booking local restaurants for dinner and directing us to where we needed to get to. Breakfast in the garden each morning was lovely with a good selection of food to choose from. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the beach and 15 minutes from the waterbus station making it easy to get to Venice for sightseeing.

fabulous place on the lido away from the chaos of Venice . a short water taxi ride over the water . Nice and peaceful . Hosts were really friendly , nothing too much trouble . Had a nice room with a balcony . Breakfast was buffet style for 15 euros , which seemed to be the going rate . Would definitely stay here again should we ever go back to Venice

Just great, clean , friendly in the best location of the Lido. A must. Rooms are brand new i an classic structure. So both comfortable and proper. The garden is a great place before jumping in the sea that is just a few meters away. And you can get bikes from the stuff. Another must in the Lido

I booked a standard room for 3 nights. I only stayed one night. It was one of my worst nights ever ( heat and mosquitos). - First I got a room very different than the one on the pictures. Its a room in the atick with low ceiling and very little windows and lack of day light. It was very hot and The AIRCONDITIONING WAS BROKEN. It makes hell of noise plus it doesnt cool "just fan". It was 27.2 degrees inside the room while windows open. Staff said windows must be closed but it made it only worse when closing the windows. The staff have no clue about the problem. the detector of the windows were broken. I showed them but they insist that it works. The ladies staff tried to collaborate nicely but the old man staff was very rude. He said " for us the airconditioner works". I also wanted a compensation for the different room and the bad night I had. He told me "are you here for discounts ?" What a customer service ! I was awake whole night because of heating and mosquitos instead of enjoying my vacation and they are telling the airconditioner works ! As if never had an AC. Other than that the hotel is far from the center of lido 15min walking everytime. There are no supermarkets or restaurants near. Beach is close but you have to pay 45€ for 3 hours. Its so stupid ! Overall its not worth it. The hotel just has a good look from outside and good terrasse and garden but dont get fooled by that image.

Response from Albergo La Meridiana, Proprietario at Hotel La Meridiana
Responded 18 Aug 2023
Thank you for sharing your concerns regarding your recent reservation at our hotel, We sincerely appreciate your feedback and would like to clarify some points regarding the situation. We understand that the discrepancy between the images displayed during the booking process and the assigned room may have caused disappointment. However, it's important to emphasize that all standard rooms in our hotel are unique and can vary in their features, location, and layout. The images provided on the booking confirmation are purely for illustrative purposes and may not necessarily reflect the exact specifications of each room. The room you were assigned is indeed a standard room, but with some special characteristics that might differ from other standard rooms in the hotel. This could include, for example, a unique location, specific windows, or a lower ceiling. In your case, the assigned room is situated in the attic and features a completely renovated bathroom, which contributes to making it an appealing option for many guests. We want to highlight that we constantly strive to improve the quality and variety of our rooms to offer our guests a range of experiences. However, as is often the case in hotel establishments, room availability can vary, and the room specifications might differ from the illustrative images. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this situation may have caused you. However, in this instance, we believe that the assigned room still meets the requirements of a standard room, and the renovated bathroom adds additional value to the overall experience. Therefore, we offer you our buffet breakfast . The location of our hotel you cna see on google maps before booking . At five min there are 2 or 3 restaurants and also Pizza . REgarding supermarkedts they are at 10 min by feet . As you see Lido di Venezia beach is the first beach just during the first part of 1900 and the charateristi are the little wooden beach huts , also with bathrooms and showers on a special place for a confortable saty at the beach .If you go at about 500 hundred meters from the hotel you will find the beach with unbrellas and there the prices are very low . At about 800 hundred meters rom the hotel you can have thfree beach . Another thing you can do is hire a bike and discover alll the beaches of Lido , they are free We greatly appreciate your understanding and hope that your experience at our hotel remains positive despite this discrepancy. Best regards The Management

Loved our stay at Albergo la Meridiana. Traditional homely hotel with amazingly friendly helpful staff. Comfortable room with air con which was very welcome. Really good breakfast to set you up for the day in beautiful gardens. In a residential area so quiet but close to everything. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you to all the staff especially Claudia and Stella.

My stay was great from the beginning. The staff is nice and super helpful. Breakfast was totally worth it to have included as there are many options and it was delicious. The room was cosy and comfortable. I was amazed how such an old building was so well taken cared off. So cute. My experience in Venice was better thanks to my stay in this hotel.

This hotel is so cute with extremely friendly staff who couldn’t be more helpful to make our stay wonderful. Claudia so cheerful and extremely welcoming a lovely lady. The lactation was within a scenic walk of the main piazza on the Lido were you can find plenty of places to eat drink or just chill out. If you’re looking for a relaxing day try the public pool it was very clean and you even get waiter service at your sun lounger, book before you go though. I would recommend this hotel to anyone
