We stayed here for a long weekend towards the end of the season and would recommend this hotel. The staff looked after us really well, nothing was too much trouble, rather refreshing. The hotel was clean and welcoming. The quiet location of the Lido provides a nice balance to the busy, crowded island of Venice. You can walk or taxi...

We stayed at the fontane for my 50th birthday and our wedding anniversary combined, and what a treat it was. Such a beautiful old hotel full of charm and character. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. We had dinner at the hotel on our first night and it was delicious as was the breakfast each morning which had a great selection...

The hotel has its own personality. The rooms have old style but are well maintained. The garden path to the side building is beautiful, as is the building itself. The personnel is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good and the waiters attentive. If you want, there is a free water taxi to Murano island, with glass factory...

We chose this hotel so that we could have some relaxing in between exploring and walking miles in Venice itself. There was a good regular bus service to the Vaporetto, and then the waterbus itself made it so easy to get to Venice, Murano, Burano and all the other islands. We could leave St Marks square and be back in...

Trafalgar tour booked us into the Quattro Fontane Lido for 2 nights in Venice. Excellent location with easy water taxi to the center city and Burano/Murano. Safe area for exploring the beach neighborhood. Great breakfast! Great service!

Prior to going to the Quatro Fontana I read the reviews and was very worried but needn't have been. The hotel was very charming and quaint with an eclectic style. Our room was on the top floor in the annex which meant constantly walking up stairs as there is no lift but we soon got used to it and it...

I first ate here 10 years ago and enjoyed it so much I checked in for a week and enjoyed that too. On a recent Cunard Cruise around the Med we stopped at Venice for 2 days and I was keen to re visit with a friend who had not been before. We had booked a table and decided to...

We stayed in this lovely hotel for 8 years ago. (We prefer to stay in Lido to have a good balance between a crowed Venica and a quiet and nice Lido. (the beach is very nice). Since last time this hotel really has lost some of its charm. The hotel is still cosy, with very nice garden and nice hotel...

This hotel is a horrible mess! I stayed here with my family while using Go Ahead Tours and my six year old begged me to check into another hotel. Thankful to get though two horrific nights. The furniture is so old that a mirror fell on my son's head and I cut my finger and bruised my hand trying to...

A two night stay as part of the tour, and initial impressions were good. The room was cool on a very hot and humid day, and the furnishing of old wood cupboards and dressers, gave a quaint impression. Meal on the terrace was disappointing, with the veal a little tough, and a grumpy waiter, who decided he was the owner...
