We found the room to be simple, a bit dated, but clean. We had a hot shower and a comfortable bed after a long day of riding on our RZR over the McGruder Corridor. The hotel just added to our adventure. If you are planning on staying in Elk City, this is the only game in town. The manager was...

They are not the Ritz, nor do they claim to be. It is the only functioning hotel in the city. The staff is super attentive. They room was clean. In fact my husband lost a bottle top and in his search for it he looked all around the kitchen even under the the refrigerator. It was very clean even there....

First of all, this is NOT a Bed and Breakfast. It's a motel. An old, run down, rickety building. If they offered breakfast, I did not see it or hear of it. The issues: The shower was filthy and covered in black mold/mildew. Never have I seen a motel with such a filthy shower. Trust me, I have stayed in...

Elk City Hotel & Gift Shop offers a great place to stay in the middle of the Idaho's Nez Perce/Clearwater National Forest. Surrounding forests offer hunting, fishing in streams and high mountain lakes, backpacking, snowmobiling, and much more. We are a traditional motel with a variety of room choices. If you are a history buff, there is plenty of it here starting with the discovery of gold in 1861. The gift shop features a museum with historic photographs and artifacts from those days.
