The Greenbriar Inn may be a historic site but it is in need of major improvement. The stairs leading up to the rooms squeak. The Inn has a stale odor. The floors and door and ceiling above, when guests are in their room, overhead squeak. The mattress is about 2inches and very uncomfortable and it squeaks. The furniture is old,...

Not only is there Victorian ambiance but a great bar, kitchen, and service. We stayed one night in the only room without an ensuite. We had our own bath, but it was a few steps down the hall. It was OK. Sat outside and had a great meal. The martini was delicious. There was a big party inside. But we...

We spent two nights at the Greenbriar Inn as we enjoyed touring Couer d'Alene .. . and enjoyed every minute of it! Our room was on the top floor, so it was a bit of a walk up . .. . but it was very cozy and comfortable. Our room had only a bathtub, no shower .. . at first...

This renovated Inn is very warm and inviting. The rooms are nicely appointed and have remodeled bathrooms attached. It is conveniently located so you can walk to town or the lake. The outdoor seating area looked wonderful however it was too cool for us to enjoy it. We also had dinner there and appreciated that the wait staff informed us...

A perfect destination in downtown Coeur D'Alene located on a tree lined street. The historic home is well maintained and inviting. Our 3rd floor room was comfortable and quiet. Impressed with amenities including upstairs living room and balcony for the guests. We ate at their restaurant out on the terrace under the trees - enjoyed their terrific food and drinks!...

We stayed 2 days and thoroughly enjoyed the place. The breakfasts were good and plentiful. This bed and breakfast is conveniently located only a few blocks from downtown. Easy walking to attractions. The city is...

I booked this place sight unseen and what a jewel of a find! Old world charm with modern comfort in easy walking distance of the lake and shops. My biggest regret is I was in town for business and the long hours working kept me from enjoying the full experience I would have loved at Greenbriar. Chris the owner is...

We stayed one night and Kris made us a wonderful breakfast. By far one of the best we have had on our 2 week trip. Good location to town and a cozy room . Would have liked to try dinner but they were not open on Monday night.

The Greenbriar Inn was the perfect respite whilst visiting Coeur d'Alene. I stayed in one of the Innkeeper's rooms on the 3rd floor which was absolutely adequate and more than I had hoped for. The bathroom for my particular room was located immediately across the hall - but it was reserved for my use only. Except for the minor inconvenience...
