Avoiding elitism, I will start with my solitary compliment - the room was clean, albeit quite dated and, as another reviewer noted, creepy (the walls have eyes). The toilet didn't flush, the shower faucet dripped loudly enough to be heard through a closed bathroom door, and the room wouldn't heat above 64 degrees. I would have had a better night's...

We checked into this motel and stayed 5-10 minutes. The floor in the bathroom had mold along the bath tub. We left and found another motel room then we went back and checked out. When we turned in the key and told them why they said okay I will pass the information along. Paid about $10/minute. It was worth it...

I did not care for this motel but I needed a place to sleep. The bed was just awful...reminded me of the bed Fred and Ethel slept in on that I Love Lucy episode. Only I didn't have an Ethel to solve my problem. Only thing missing was the train. Not a good night's sleep. They used a yellow pages...

I always am concerned when I stay at these older properties. My concern is for cleanliness and bedbugs. I always check the sheets for these little critters. Happily, we didn't find any. The hotel is old but was convenient for our route of travel. No free breakfast but a reasonably priced restaurant on sight. Food was good and the staff...

This was our first visit to Challis, ID. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept on away from home!! The restaurant closes at 10pm and we showed up with very large party (adults and kids) at 9:30pm...our river float went late :).. The staff was very pleasant and showed no irritation. Everyone's food was very hot and...

All of the Staff at The Village Inn Motel & Restaurant were so attentive and promptly and respectfully cared for our every need. The motel was clean, the bed comfortable, and the air conditioning very welcome. I was so happy that there was a refrigerator and microwave in our room to keep food/milk available in the nighttime for a young...

After a busy day exploring Idaho's central mountains, my wife and I were famished. The Village Inn was recommended for a place to get a good meal. It is a cozy restaurant on the main highway in Challis. I had the rib eye steak - grilled perfectly with a garlic dressing. A complete meal for under $20. The service was...
