Stayed in this beautiful farmhouse on our return from Scotland and couldn't believe our luck. Lovely large bed room and bathroom with toiletries but most unusual, and much appreciated, bathrobes. There is even a cosy guest sitting room which had a log fire and lots of books and games. Excellent breakfast, 2 eggs come as standard. Who needed lunch. We...

This is a beautiful "mansion" house in a country setting the accommodation is of the highest standard. Our host Mandy could not do enough for us such a warm and welcoming reception has in our experience never been surpassed. This is the place to stay in Berwick. We will be returning soon.

We stayed over the New Year weekend and had a fantastic time. The house is beautiful and felt particularly cosy with all the Xmas decorations and roaring fires and even Christmassy bedding. Mandy and Bob were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely, freshly cooked breakfast and really thoughtful extra touches like box of chocolates in our room...

My partner and I stayed at the Broomhouse Farmhouse in late October. Our family were staying nearby at Haggerston Castle so we wanted to find a wee place nearby to stay. We were both delighted to have stumbled upon this absolutely gorgeous accommodation. The entire stay was wonderful from beginning to end. The rooms and facilities were of an exceptional...

Visited the farm with quite a few children. Not many animals to see compared to other farms I've visited! Just pigs, sheep and a few birds, unless there were more that we weren't aware of. There is an adventure trail which the kids enjoyed. Not great in wet weather though! The adventure trail is aimed at 5+ I would say.

Hi Becky904 I am really sorry you were disappointed with your recent farm visit, especially having a few children in tow and what sounds like bad weather. However, you must have gone to a different Broomhouse! Had you come here you would have scored us zero as we have no animals other than two gorgeous dogs. This is a beautiful...

We stayed in room 4 recently in this fabulous B&B, ran by Mandy and Robert. From the moment we booked, Mandy emailed us to ask if we had any special requirements for breakfast (first place ever to do this - and so glad she did). Then on the day, we had a couple of text messages giving us directions. The...

House is down a lane from A1, No traffic can be heard which makes this place very peaceful. I woke up during the night to the sound of an owl. Lovely rooms, very clean and beds are so comfy. Continental style breakfast which consisted of cereal, yogurt, fruit, cheese, tomato and bread. Only thing that let it down is that...

What a wonderful place to stay. We decided to stay here after the hotel we looked at was fully booked, this ended up being wonderful for us. We were met by Amanda when we arrived and from that moment until we left she couldn't have been more helpful. The room was wonderful and the location is fantastic for exploring the...

We arrived to a lovely welcome from Amanda. The house is set in wonderful surroundings, far enough away from the A1 to be free from traffic noise. Just the sounds of the countryside. Most enjoyable stay.
