Been coming here since 1987 & wouldn't go anywhere else, Val & Rob are brilliant & make everyone welcome from the moment you arrive until you leave, lovely comfortable, homely rooms & breakfast second to none, would strongly recommend a visit when in this area.

Ladythorne is a special place. The room was fantastic. Great breakfast. Val & Rob are excellent friendly hosts. It was lovely to chat with other guests in their lounge after dinner. We will certainly come back again.

This place is really special. Val and Rob, the owners, are really friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is unique! They cook the best English/ Scottish breakfast I have ever had!! Staying here at least one night is a MUST if you visit Scotland

Val & Rob obviously love welcoming people to their B&B - they were exceptionally friendly. The house itself has been beautifully restored and the room was very clean. We had several excellent evening meals at the Lindisfarne Inn and after returning to Ladythorne House it was lovely to get together with other guests and hosts in the guest lounge.

Fantastic place, very family friendly. Great breakfast, very welcoming and friendly hosts. Beautiful gardens that the children loved playing hide and seek in and less than a mile from a beautiful beach.

Rob and Val are very welcoming and helpful hosts. Our large room had a view over the fields and was comfortable enough and very quiet. The breakfast was excellent. You'll need transport to stay here as it is a bit isolated. We used it as a base to visit Holy Island which is close by. Would return.

When Rob and Val took it over it was derelict but over a period of years they lovingly restored it. It is most enjoyable to enjoy the fruits of their hard work and talent. They...
