Very good staff and excellent service. Staff is very friendly and food too is very delicious. I would highly recommend to go to this place you all will love and enjoy this place. Shubham manish staff was very friendly cooperative and not to forget chef ramesh ji who made our whole trip awesome feeding delicious food all the time. Shivangi and preeti and manoj malik all were excellent in there respective departments. Highly recommend love this place . 5 star ☺️

Resort obviously has all the visual delights as illustrated in photographs. However there have been certain letdowns, which management can pay attention to improve upon. I stayed with family for couple of days and following are my observations....
1. Moment one enters room, air quality is pretty toxic. Infact even outside, there was(one time) a smell of some gas leakage from kitchen(informed reception). However it continued to persist. 2. There is constant loud noise of some DG set(near restaurant) through out day/night, which punctuates natural silence of resort. 3. Room electricity was turning ON/OFF very frequently, during our stay 4. Sports facilities/kits are not well maintained. 5. Notwithstanding distance from Haridwar, the approach road is pretty narrow
In absence of any matching resort of this stature in Haridwar, its an inevitable choice, but definitely some remedial measures can improve customer experience.

I came here with my mother who needs wheelchair assistant. The sole reason to come to this place is to get Ganga Aarti for my Mom. The whole staffs are so amazing that they helped us all possible ways to make our stay so comfortable.
We arrive for the Aarti a bit late from the city tour and Pandit ji Rohit already left the place after the evening Puja. But thanks to Activity Manager Mr. Surender Singh and staff Mr. Mukesh who called back Pandit ji and made it happened for us.
The Ganga Aarti is my Mom's long wish and I am so happy that she did it today evening with all help from Amartha staffs! Panditji and all other staffs are with us during the Aarti and it has been performed so magnificently!
The resort is beautiful, well maintained and have amazing people who is making all the visitors stay so pleasant!
We are going from here with such good memories 💗

Heavily overcharges hotel with barely any amenities. I should have rather stayed at the raddison blue rather than here. The ac didn't work, neither did any appliances in the kitchen. The hygiene was aphalling and there was rat feces on the sofas, and yeat they charge 14000 per night per room. They refused to acknowledge my booking made through booking.com and i had to pay extra for the rooms. Anyone staying here, youre better off staying at the raddison

The property is very serene and calm perfect for a getaway from all the hustle and bustle of life. Nikhil manages the activities here and is there to help you with all he can Gopal chef at live kitchen was very interactive and serving great food. Roshan helped us to manage a few events we were planning near the river view. Overall staff is welcoming and warm making it a great place to be at the weekend.

This was our fourth stay with Amatra and it’s one such place that never disappoints. I made our booking through Neha, sadly she had resigned days before our arrival but she was still so prompt over calls and Co-ordinated so well with all her ex-colleagues to make sure all our requirements are fulfilled and our stay is nothing less than comfortable. Amatra would definitely feel the absence of Neha, I also missed that beautiful smile and the willingness to help the guests.
Nitin, Bhupendra, Amit needs a special mention as they were always keen to help. The F&B Team was par excellence. They made sure we had a good Foodcoma. Our requirement for vegan food was also Thanks to Rajesh Ji, who always listened to our food requirements with a smile. Manoj and these girls Anita and Preeti were too kind and pleasing at the restaurant. Hope to stay with you guys soon again.

We had taken 3 luxury/premium villas and went as a family of 20 plus ppl with kids. Amazing property, huge villa and room sizes. Pool is good, it is 4 feet so young kids would need parents to be around. It is 25 min drive from city, best is to get all meals included as nothing is available outside the resort. Food is good, Mahesh Rawat is a star in their f&b section. Get in touch with him and you are sorted. Housekeeping is an issue, the cleaning etc needs follow ups. We had a good fun stay. Private access to River Ganga is the most amazing experience of the resort.

Amatra by Ganges is really wonderful with state of the art facilities. Ambience with Holy Ganges.. Staff is very cooperative and well mannered. Especially Kanishka, Preeti, and Shubham had been very helpful in serving us and making us feel comfortable in the dining room. Beautiful place to stay. Staff is helpful and prompt. Winter evening tea in lawns is cherry on cake. Ganga aarti is delightful. We had a lovely stay... peaceful and close to nature. Restaurant is spacious, good food and kind staff.

Very nice stay here for two nights in October 2020. We wanted to go for 'mundan' of my baby in a resort near Ganga ji which is a situated in a peaceful location and that's what Amatra is. Hotel staff arranged Pandit Ji and Barber on direct payment basis which solved my purpose. There are total 12 villas, each has one garden view room at ground floor and two rooms at first floor overlooking garden or Holy Ganga river. Some of the rooms have also got jacuzzi in balcony. Best villa to stay is villa number 7 followed by 6 and 5. Rest of the ones are away from river and doesn't provides the river view. River was crystal clear and had a direct connect with this resort. Resort has got multiple activites to do like badminton, archery, etc. Including pool overlooking the river. They have also kept done benches with tables overlooking the holy river wherein you can order and take your evening snacks. They also conduct Ganga Aarti every evening. Food here is awesome (I'm vegetation) and timings are also good.
The only two negatives were - 1) very narrow approach road for last 1 km as it enters a village (allows only one way traffic although it's rare) 2) monkeys are big menace here. You have to keep doors closed (spoils the enjoyment of terrace including jacuzzi)

the hotel in far away from Shantikunj, this is located near Laxman Jhula. The road to reach hotel from main road id tiny. so big cars can reach but little difficult.
There are more places to choose from in the Kangri area.
