I stayed here the weekend before the 4th of July because I was told that they had a good fireworks show. The fireworks show was amazing and lasted for like 30 minutes and then other people shot fireworks for like 2 hours. The fireworks were...More

We thought the villas were clean and had some updates but more updates are needed to really consider it a gold crown resort. I really didn’t appreciate seeing roaches in our unit either, but all staff members were friendly and accommodating. The third bedroom is...More

I am glad to hear you enjoyed your stay and the kids had fun at the pools. Our condos have been updated over the years to maintain a silver crown status, and we are consistently continuing to do so. And our staff is always trying...More

Cannot fault this resort. Great staff, excellent accommodation and superb location. Here with family from uk and everyone enjoyed the resort. Lots of info from the resort about the local attractions. We went to the botanical gardens which were exceptional.

Upon arrival we were excited to learn we were in a lakefront resort home. Yet when we pulled up to our unit we were tucked behind a row on actual lakefront units that obstructed our view of the lake. Despite this our resort home had...More

This resort is tucked away in a beautiful area of Georgia that I had not experienced prior to this visit. It sits on a lake that is an absolute jewel, perfect for spectacular sunset pictures! The layout of the units (we had a 2 br/2...More

Hi, hope someone can help who knows about Fairfield Plantation. We live in Marietta, Ga. and I am hoping to plan a getaway not far away for my husband who has IPF. He requires oxygen, and must pull a two wheel oxygen cart when he walks. He can walk short distance and manage a few steps. We are interested in a two bedroom waterfront unit. We need to be able to park the car close to the door of the unit. From reading the reviews I am interested in the #229 waterfront villa. Does the villa have its own parking near the door of the unit? I called and a lady recommended a unit at the Cove, but my impression is that at the Cove there is one universal parking lot - so parking might be a far distance. Also how many steps do the waterfront villas have to the door? Is it uphill from parking to the door? I have a transport chair to push him on paved areas, but uphill would be hard. If we can park near the unit, it will work. I want waterfront so that he can enjoy the view as he has such limited mobility. Information will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Vikki, The Tara Villas Lake Front might work, but there is a narrow path about 150 yards from the parking to the entrance, which has 5 steps up to the unit. Once inside it should be alright, as it's all one level. I hope... More

Yes, you can. However, there are strict rules that govern it by the Homeowners association. Also, there are not any docks to keep the boat in the water, which means you will need to pull it in and out of the water each... More

Greetings! No, you're not able to rent boats in the area. The property owners associations (HOA) decided against that. I hope this helps.
