We stopped here after getting to the hotel where I had made reservations in advance and being told that they had no rooms. Blair helped us out by getting us checked in quick. We had a very nice room sms a nice 2 night stay. They offer a continental breakfast which isn't much. There is free WiFi but it's very...

We've taken 3 previous family vacations to Tybee and have stayed here all 3 times several years apart they've always been very courteous and nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and hotel is very close to beach and pier and within walking distance to all the shops and more. We love it

We were there the night of November 12, 2016... We usually spend every other weekend on Tybee after Halloween in the fall and winter, and are quite familiar with the hotel availability on Tybee however Hurricane Matthew had impacted hotel availability somewhat this fall.......This trip was a spur of the moment decision, this was the only hotel/motel on Tybee that...

Only positive--it's on the ocean. Better off staying in your car--this is the filthiest motel I've seen in 40+ years. Surprised the health department doesn't get interested. Maybe they will when I alert them.

The room was definitely not up to par... smoke detector was hanging off the wall by the wires we went to the beach and came back to are non-smoking room being filled with marijuana smoke and when we called the front desk they said there's nothing they can do for us... I mentioned leaving and going to another hotel instead...

We are staying at the hotel, and I went down to the front office to inquire about a local seafood restaurant tonight. The clerk was dealing with a very inebriated man who would not listen and became very rude, loud and aggressive. I was going to tell my wife to go back to the car, but Melinda handled the situation very...

Pictures on the internet are very deceiving! Rooms dirty, no place to sit outside your room. Salt Water pool they say, dirty pool with sand in it and in 3 days never was vacuumed or cleaned period. The breakfast was a mini stale muffin on the counter in the office. Hotel could have been so much more. Need to put...

The window A/C unit was REALLY loud. The bathroom area of the bedroom was clearly an afterthought with more 'after' than 'thought'. Cereal/baked goods breakfast wasn't poisonous. But for $180? Ouch. You'd be better off staying out of Tybee and driving in to visit. Which I'm now doing for the second night of my visit to the area...

“Great Stay” 4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW We loved Sandcastle Inn….the whole entire resort is old, from the stores to the restaurants to the hotels. Most around since the 70’s, some upgraded, some not. But that has a charm to it I think. Anywhere you walked to eat the food was great. The stores were nice to pick...

No air conditioning in mid-august heat. The toilet would only flush after the fifth attempt. The floor was dirty. Found hair in the bed. Never getting near this establishment again! You have been warned!!!

“No matter where you go,or where you stay. Always check out the room before you check in. Look at the baths, the beds the tv reception, heat and a/c. The overall cleanliness. Don't check in expecting something that is not there, and then blame the motel for not being what you want.”
