My wife and I stayed at this property the weekend of the 24th. The room we stayed in had been recently renovated. The mattress was comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower was good. It was nice although it needed to be cleaned better. The door frame looked like someone was playing in used car oil then opened and closed the door. The floor needed to be mopped, and the base boards needed to be wiped down. The walls seemed to be paper-thin as you could hear every noise from the pool area as well as people walking near the room.
I have stayed in properties that were national chain hotels for half the price that were much cleaner. I guess in this case location, location, location, is what you pay for.
All in all, a nice place. Good location. A bit expensive.

I am so thankful to have been able to stay at this hotel during my recent two night stay on Tybee Island. The location is absolutely perfect for close proximity to the South end beach, pier, local restaurants, places to buy drinks, gift stores, and within a 2 minute walk to the sand! The room itself was decent; the room was clean and had everything you need, although not the highest quality (but all our time was spent out enjoying the Island and just used the room to sleep and bathe). The hotel has free parking for quests (which is great considering everywhere else has pretty steep parking fees). The pool was located right outside our room, although we didn't use it (tried one night but it was already closed for the evening 10PM or so). Overall, very pleasant stay and would recommend for anyone who wants a nicely priced option, great location, and not interested in the fanciest accommodations.

This place is not worth the.money! We booked through booking.com & just before we arrived we received a call saying they were cancellng our reservation. We told them we'd be there in less than an hour. They forced us to pay in advance for 2 days & although they claimed we would get s discount booking through them on Youtubr...they charged us $538 and refused to even honor our AARP discount. for a half-clesned room without hangers & a stopped up sink. We reported it to them and they said they'd repair the sink & provide hangers that NEVER materialized. Did I mention there are no phones in the rooms either? So I called the front desk from my cell phone to report the strong smell of cigar smoke in the supposedly no smoking hotel. They advised me the were probably smoking outside their room and when I told her that wasn't the case no additional comment was made so I'm sure nothing more was done there either. Obviously we are never coming back but I still feel like we were robbed for our money!!

The Tybee Island area is a popular destination and we enjoyed all the amenities it offered! The hotel, Sea & Breeze, is located at the absolute heart of Tybee, and had rooms available, so we booked our stay with them. We encountered room 231 first, and it was lacking in a lot of ways, so I checked with the front desk and they graciously offered us another room. We took the next room 217 King Suite, and stayed the night in that room. When we woke the next morning, we saw some problems with that room and when I shared the room issues with the front desk, they moved us to 210 King Suite. We stayed 4 nights in that room and we were pleased with how it turned out. Interesting, though, is that there was a painting crew and various other working crews there during our visit that showed us the dedication of ownership to keep the building in good shape. I can’t give them 5 stars or 4 stars, but I think they are progressing towards that end with the work effort they are putting in place. I hope they accomplish their goals and I will come back to stay there in my future.

Sea & Breeze is in a great location, walking distance to the beach/pier which is a nightmare parking situation made up for with the onsite parking spots. It’s located in what appears to be the main area of town, however it’s a funky layout that didn’t make me feel safe/secure, as anyone could enter the property. (I propped the chair under the door both nights I was there).. The exterior is in desperate need of maintenance, but it is what it is. A beach bum hotel. Tile floors are great with the sand, the shower was updated, the room had a mini fridge which was great. The linens are threadbare but you get what you pay for. I got a smoking deal of a price which served my purpose while passing through. I was not able to figure out the TV. It kept saying there wasn’t service, but the wifi worked well for streaming. I got cold with the thin bedding, but grabbed more from the other bed. The only issue I have is someone came into the room, dropping off towels and soaps that were not necessary after a single night. I wouldn't stay here again, heck the island doesn't have much to offer in comparison to Hilton Head or Amelia Island. It's a been there done that location.

This was right in the middle of everything you want to be close to! A short walk to the beach and an ever shorter walk to every other food place and shops. The parking was tight for my family because we had a large vehicle, how ever sea and breeze employees were very accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure we had a good parking spot and good experience. Very happy with this place !!!

This place is a dump, the only thing going for it is the location. I wouldn't stay here again if they offered me a free stay. The staff was rude, the room was just unacceptable, and there seemed to be zero sympathy from the staff. I complained and was offered "go stay somewhere else, but you won't get a refund." from the lady at the desk. You would think that such a gorgeous location would have better to offer. Do yourself a favor and spend a few more bucks elsewhere. Parking is impossible, there was no phone in the room, the hot water heater was on the blink..found that out via a cold shower in the morning, the elevator was disgusting... the list goes on. Run away.

TURN BACK NOW. I foolishly ignored the reviews mentioning missing smoke alarms, filth, and thin walls. I am now full of regret and heading to an airbnb after possibly the most uncomfortable stay I've ever had.
The king suites in front have very thin walls and you can hear everything your neighbors say and do. There is also some construction going on across the street so it's not very peaceful by the pool either.
First night in, I noticed there was a hole in the wall with exposed wiring where a modern smoke detector should have been. Then when I showered I noticed an unusual amount of dirt coming from my feet, which had been in socks and shoes all day until I got into the hotel. I got a wet paper towel and dabbed the floor, noting the towel turned black.
The office offered a room upgrade due to our smoke alarm concern, however our trouble was not over. Even after upgrading to a newly renovated king suite we had problems with a broken toilet flush chain being held together by zip ties and a dirty floor.
We attempted to talk to the front office about the dirt, but maintenance argued with us and refused to mop the floor. We watched aghast as they looked in our room while holding a dirty mop (no bucket), shrugged, and threw down a towel in front of the door. We were at an impasse. We thought a floor should not make your feet black. Maintenance thought it should. The office said we were not permitted to clean ourselves. We were refunded for the remainder of our booking. Hopefully we can salvage the rest of our spring break elsewhere.

The rooms floor wasn’t very clean. Nor were the bed spreads but the sheets were clean and the shower though old was clean as well. The ice machine was broken but you can walk to chus (not far at all) and get ice. The pool had very clean water and centrally located from all the rooms and I liked that for my son. Parking was difficult the (little spaces have underneath the hotel) but if you wanted once you are there you wouldn’t have to leave. Everything beach, pier, restaurants, shops, and bars are within walking distance. Great location is one thing I can brag about on this hotel.

This motel was advertised as a resort? Motel at best. Should have stayed at the Hampton Inn right behind us had I known the lay of the land. This was close to the beach and you could walk, although we drove and parked to carry fishing gear. When in rained, the floors got so wet that we had to lay a spare blanket on the floor to soak up the water. Ugh.

Its actually a great location. It sits on the beach shopping strip, bars are definitely footsteps away, right above a wet willys. Call to make sure the renovations are complete first....
