We were so pleased to find Mount Pleasant Farm after a nice day exploring the town of Richmond and the Yorkshire Dales. Our hostess was a delight. Our group of five ladies from the US enjoyed our stay in the old (1850) farmhouse though cottage type accommodations are available as well. The rooms were spacious and comfortable in every way....

Our hostess Alison, very welcoming- made to deal very much at home - everything was so lovely from the surroundings to the room and the breakfast. Extremely peaceful location. Richmond is an interesting town to visit with a castle a lovely river, walks and little individual shops to leisure and cafes to while away an hour or two.

we stayed here overnight with our family, 11 people in total , we had a wonderful time, the owners made us feel very welcome, were so friendly and lovely. We stayed in the actual farm house, and it was lovely, the rooms were gorgeous and comfortable. There are gorgeous country side walks, and we had our evening meal at a...

We are leaving tomorrow after 3 wonderful nights at Mount Pleasant Farm. This is a delightful haven, only 3 miles from Richmond, North Yorkshire and there are many attractions within a short drive. The accommodation is of an extremely high standard in cosy en-suite cottage type rooms. Alison, Dirk and their staff pay personal attention to all the needs of...

Really enjoyed our stay, Alison, (the owner), was really helpful, we had ordered bucket loads of flowers for our son's wedding, but needed to store them for a couple of days after we had left the farm. No problem, Alison said put them in the barn, which we did and they were great. Wedding also not bad! Location great, near...

What a gem of a place, stayed for two nights while attending a family history day at the Green Howard museum, wish we could have stayed longer. A very quiet, peaceful place. Very comfortable bed, nice spotlessly clean rooms, wonderful breakfast. I hope to be there again soon. Alison and Dirk very welcoming and very helpful, nothing is too much...

Had a very enjoyable 4 night stay in The Piggery, which was adapted for wheelchair users. Everything was first class, spotlessly clean and very well appointed. Another plus was that we were able to take our dog. Although we had our own cottage we went B and B, and the breakfasts were exceptional. A good choice each day, 3 courses...

My wife and I stayed at Mount Pleasant Farm for one night and wouldn't hesitate in staying there again if we're in the area. Hosts Alison and Dirk are very welcoming and friendly, giving us some tips of where to eat in nearby Richmond (I recommend Alessandro's Hideaway by the way, was beautiful!) Our room was in the Farm house...
