Detailed Reviews
I stayed here many years ago when this was a Fairfield Inn, but of course that was over 10 years ago. I was under the assumption that this was still a FI by Marriott property, when I pulled it up on my phone it was listed as Eagles Nest Inn, I was tired so I decided to pull in there anyway and hit the sack. When I walked in I could tell this was not up to Marriott standards. Now I stay at a lot of hotels pretty often so I can tell when a place is a dump. I mean I saw dog poop in the parking lot. GROSS! Check in was easy but lacked professionalism, guy at front desk was chewing bubble gum and blowing bubbles while he was checking me in. Lobby smells sour and stale, Place kinda reminds me of my old College dorm actually, lots of college kids hanging out here. My room smelled smoky, and musty at the same time. Beds were actually really comfortable though and bathroom had 6 rolls of tp, and 8 rolls of towels so they were well stocked. But the bathtub was very stained, yellow stains all over the tub, Pee? I guess. Oh well, I just wanted to go to bed. They appear to have an indoor pool, didn't use it though, didn't have time. Breakfast is a little underwhelming, stale, very stale. I think I am gonna stay at the Hampton Inn next time.

Overall pretty good. Had a bit of a foul smell but the beds were very comfortable. Parking was great. Location was great. The kids really enjoyed themselves at the nearby water park. Most restaurants closed pretty early.

Stayed a few nights to pick up my son from GSU. Room was big and comfortable. The bathroom was ok but really needs some refurbs. Breakfast was included and typical three star hotel type. Coolest thing was the automatic pancake machine.

If you’re a student at the college, you may be fine with this hotel….but…. If you are anyone else, turn around now!! Don’t do it! They don’t give clean sheets or towels. When I went to front desk to at least get a few towels, the girl looked at me as if I just asked her to make the towels herself. When I asked , first she stated at me and then finally said “um, I guess so”.
The room smells awful, the a/c works but is LOUD.
And speaking of loud, my husband sat on the bed and it sounded like we just broke a wing off a plane…. Sounded like he sat on a metal mattress - so weird!
So, fast forward to breakfast 🙄 . We rushed down at 8:40 so we could get something before they shut down at 9:00….. there was NOTHING but a couple of muffins and bad coffee. When we asked the front desk staff if there were more options and she said it was so close to closing sooooo…. Yep, so no breakfast! Wow! So rude!
I will say the location was perfect being that we were here visiting our son at Ga southern.
Oh, I almost forgot… when you flush the toilet, it bubbles as if it’s about to explode- does this every time you flush. But don’t worry, there will be nobody available for you if you need anything . Ugh.

If you're looking for a five-star, amenity-packed hotel, this ain't it. But if you're looking for a place to stay that is reasonable for a smaller budget, that has free parking, free breakfast, working AC and TVs in your room, this is the place to be.
We stayed two nights while in town for a baseball tournament. Two adults, two kids (one almost 10, the other a year and a half). Two queen beds in our suite, microwave, fridge and a TV. Sure, the pool was out of order, but we didn't have time for that anyway.
The reviews worried me a little, but we were pleasantly surprised. I found no issues. Is it a little outdated? Maybe. But it was perfect for what we needed, therefore, it gets a five star rating for me.

My room had a dead roach on the floor, a live spider in my ice bucket, that AC filters have never been cleaned, some of the lights didn’t work due to damage, countertops had drink marks from the last tenant, wash rag from last tenant on top of the shower curtain rod, shower curtain was white at the top but brown at the bottom, black mold in the shower, plastic fork next to the bed, red stained carpet and the refrigerator was dirty inside.
The indoor pool is not available but the door leading outside is open and all kinds of dirt/leafs are in the pool and all over, the windows are all hard water stained and one of the windows are busted.
I went to the ice machine that is located just around the corner from the check in desk and it was covered in black mold so do not be fooled by the nice photos on their website because this place is disgusting!

100% the best location to stay for a game in the Boro. Tailgating is allowed and 10 minute walk to your seat. Staff was great and accommodating.

Terrible motel. Holes in the hallway walls, mold in the shower and on the bathroom floor. Fixtures are corroded and patches of the ceiling are missing. Dust hung from the popcorn ceiling, dirty sheets, and the elevator inspection certificate expired. On the plus side, staff was nice.

Statesboro is a lovely town in the
Georgia countryside. It's growing but still "homey ". The La Quinta Inn was clean, the room was spacious and had all the amenities needed, and the staff was most helpful in recommending a nearby restaurant for dinner, and that didn't disappoint us either.

We were attracted by the photos. Ther were the only good thing about the place. Someone kept cramming rocks and paper into the outer door locks so they couldn't lock and we were terrified. The desk employees acted like they knew about it. I don't know what's going on there/
